Things like that seem like the stuff the quiet kid who would sit by himself would say. Not that there's anything wrong with being quiet or sitting by yourself, but I'm sure you get my point. I just don't find it funny, and if I heard someone saying that I would probably write them off as someone not to associate myself with, mostly due to stereotyping.

That was incredibly blunt and probably came off as harsh, but that's what I was thinking reading your post.

Yeah. I'm not all "doom and gloom" ya know. Oh, I just realized with your quote of my post that my phone changed TES into TEST so instead of TESFanner it says TESTanner.

I had to contain my laughter as I was leaving work. Guy in front of me walking out was loudly arguing with his girlfriend on the phone over what apparently was he lived where no pets were allowed and she was raging that he didn't love her/is a terrible boyfriend etc because he wont move....for the dog.

Not morbid but I thought it was hilarious.

That entire conversation had nothing whatsoever to do with the dog, which is why I find it hilarious.

It is very funny how one can and will look back on the things they said or did in their younger years, and either feel really stupid, or better yet, try to deny they ever said or did stupid things. :P

That doesn't count for free spirits though... only the one who got scared along the way.

Ps if you're born with a old soul that doesn't count either... only for those who have to learn from scratch.

Your avatar is a sorts of representation of you. And the first time I saw it, at a quick glance, it looked like a woman in a red dress.

I come from a family with a twisted sense of humor, and went to a fraternity with some crazy assed brothers. I can get quite twisted and sick with my humor, which only those who know me well can laugh at.

Eh, I'm not one for morbid humor. Sometimes, but not too much. I find myself saying stupid things like "My *blank* rages on." or "Yeah? And I'll split your ass in two!"

I enjoy offensive and morbid jokes. I like seeing how people react when they're faced with something that disagrees with their sensibilities. I almost never mean what I say; it's just an innocent gauge of people's sensitivities towards issues. The jokes that come from tragedies/deaths, stereotypes, cognitively challenged, abortions, etc. all can elicit a hearty laugh from me, but the biggest draw is seeing how others respond. I don't personally take part, but viewing the drama that happens on trolled facebook memorials will likely keep my interest for quite a while.

The fault in getting offended lies with the listener, not the speaker. It is not up to me to decide whether or not you get offended by a joke I make. To deny my freedom of saying something because you don't like it is childish and immature.

It doesn't appear to have any eyecatching details right away, so by that alone, you appear with a lack of character. But not in the sense as a white sheet of paper, but more like someone who is inbetween things. Neither leaning towards any side. And yes, that is very vague but I haven't read enough of your posts to get anything more concrete out of you.

I don't usually go for the morbid. I will go for a bit of a shock factor though.

We got a new guy while I was in the navy. Me and a black guy set him up one day. I had the black guy wait around the corner, and paged the new guy down. When he showed up I said something to the effect of F'n n*****, and the black guy came around the corner. We had a fake shouting match calling each other every name under the sun, and proceeded to look like we were going to come to blows, but we both started laughing. The new guy was stunned.

Couple of bruises and some broken bones.

No offense though! (followed with something offensive)

I had a friend who only ever let out a barrage of embarrassingly un-funny, tasteless, lame and offensive jokes. She's shifted cities and I don't even talk to her anymore. People would be too embarrassed to be seen with her in public. She's never had a relationship because people are too scared of her. She actually ruined her entire image trying to be edgy and cool, and when she actually grew up and grew a brain, she realized that she had ruined her social life.
I don't even keep in contact with her, and we were good friends for a significant amount of time. It just got so bad that I stopped talking to her. She was loud, in your face, aggressive and confrontational, and it was all for show because she wanted to stand out. She did, but for all the wrong reasons.

Personally I find tasteless jokes in moderation and in the appropriate time to be amusing. Occasionally someone will say something that is hilarious because it's so morbid or disturbing- But even then I am more laughing at the person who said it for being stupid. Only occasionally, though, because a morbid joke that is actually witty is pretty bloody rare.

But it's not childish and immature to say it, knowing that others will get offended.

I see...

(I don't, actually.)

Sounds like you're socially [censored] more than anything else. Seriously, context is the key to these things. If you're with friends that find that thing funny, sure. But if you're not? Don't. Simple as, really.
