Does Hoof Size Matter for a Pony?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:54 am

5'11" here, closer to 6ft but rounding is kinda lame.

For those who are taller than me I hope they experience as few issues with their height as I sometimes do about things like shoes or pants being too small and needing sometimes needing to special order, or for the ridiculously taller getting bopped in the head by as few low-lying door frames as possible. Being extremely tall I'm sure has it's liabilities as well as being extremely short. I had a good friend who was 6'7" and it's kinda hard to avoid being a primary target for attention when you tower above damn near 100% of an entire school population.

Unfortunately I would in fact feel a bit weird about being with a woman taller than me, but I'm the type of person that would notice it at first but get over it, if you really care about the person superficial differences like height shouldn't really be much a deciding factor, OTOH, people are people..

I'm 6' 0'', and I'm fine with it (done growing). My father is 6' 2''. My girlfriend is 5'6'', and I think that's a fine ratio.

I'm 6'1. I want to be the tallest person in my extended family, so I want to grow at least 2 more inches until I'm good.

I'm 6' 4" (193cm). To be honest, I would rather be a couple inches shorter. 6' 2" is tall enough to be perceived as "tall" by most people, but not so tall as to have difficulty finding clothes that fit (stylish trousers/jeans that are long enough are the hardest to find). Plus you can be a little more comfortable in small cars or coach plane seats.

Ill probably grow a few more inches and this gut should go down a bit more.
I'm taller than my entire "close" family by an inch or two.

I am 6' 1", when I was young it annoyed me; I was 6' at 13 and only gained an inch over high school, that was a bit awkward.

Can we opt for tigers blood rather than being built like Adonis?

This BMI Index isn't right for everyone. My advlt weight will be 200 lbs (NOT overweight) and I'll only be 5'7" :hehe:

BMI is notoriously crappy, yes, but it's frequently used because every body is different. A simple height vs weight graph and very rough averages is about as close as it's going to get when trying to apply those numbers to everyone at once. If you want to know what you, specifically, have as a healthy average weight range, you'd be better off asking a doctor or other health professional. Otherwise a rough guess and a shrug is about as good as you'll get.

I'm 6' 4''. Some people in school would mention how tall I was, on occasion. I would just think, "who cares?" and move on. It doesn't matter if someone is taller or shorter than me, that's just the way it is.

When people point out how tall you are, it's usually in awe and with respect. If they point out how short you are, it's condescending.

Are you comfortable with your height?
Yes.
What height would you strive to be?
Please tell me that's not a serious question.
How do you feel talking to somebody significantly taller than yourself?
I feel like I'm talking to somebody significantly taller than myself.
Do you ever feel intimidated by somebody you're attracted to because of your height?
No.

I can't believe this topic could have thread#2, it's all your fault evilfish.

I have bell like body shape. I personally is quite content with my own shape, just hope I could get more time doing more swimming then it may change. Or may not cause the bell runs in the genes :P

It does affect my chance of picking up girls at bars but since I don't go to bars I don't think that matters.

Oh, okay, getting out of the thread now. :(

Psssht I'm still answering.... ;)

I'm 5'1" and wish I were taller. :( When you see clothes on websites it generally now says the models size and height. They're generally about 5'7-8" which means the stuff will be a whole half foot different on me. :(

Girls in oversized clothes may look particular appealing to some men. :P

I'm only about 6'2 (187cm), but despite not reaching the magical 6'5+ I'm equal to or slightly taller than most other Dutch guys and a lot taller than most immigrants and foreign students, of which there are quite a bunch here.

Why are Dutch people so tall?

I'm about 5'11 and I'm fine with that. My GF is 5'6. If I could change my height, I'd go for 6'7 so I could tower over you underlings. I would date a girl taller than me because, to be honest, I find that kind of hot. :hubbahubba:
