Im roughly 5'7", which is barely taller than most girls at my school. Guess it helps that my girlfriend is 5'1".

I was 6'2 1/4 last time I was measured. But I am might still grow a little. I am shooting for 6'4-6'6. I am comfortable with my height though.

Ah, that's pretty tall for a girl.
idk, people have never pointed it out to me  i was involved with this guy who was about the same height as me once, but he never said anything because he was too embarrassed of his own height. so i don't think i'm too tall.
tall enough, though.

I'm 181cm (5'11"), which is about the swedish average.

My question to all male forumites is this - are you comfortable with your height? What height would you strive to be?
I think my height is fine.

What I do find a bit annoying though, is that my body isn't proportional. My torso is very tall compared to the lengths of my arms and legs. When I meet someone taller than me, I'm usually taller than them when we sit down. This also makes it a pain to find clothes that fit well.

So either I should have longer arms and legs, or a smaller torso

How do you feel talking to somebody significantly taller than yourself?
It's fine, although it can be rather hard to get rid of the "wow he's tall" thought circulating from my mind which I do find rather distracting during conversations. Had a construction worker in my home 2 weeks ago, and he must have been at least 195cm. Huge!

Do you ever feel intimidated by somebody you're attracted to because of your height?
No.

Is this already the second thread? I'm sure I posted at least one comment.

Well anyway, imo it's all abouts extremes. If you are like 2,50 m or only 1 m, people will of course react different towards you.
About my personal preferences, well I'm 1,89 m and I haven't encountered that many women who are taller than me. I think my height is fine the way it is.

Im around 6ft.....my drviers lisense puts me at 185cm.

Maybe its because I'm Australian, but around where I am, Im a very average height, and nowhere near the tallest of my friends, several are much taller.

I do admit, a couple where the woman is taller then the man looks a bit strange.....but other then that I dont see why anyone should worry about their height.

I'm fine w my current height, It can occasionally get in the way when it comes to some things I like (sports cars... motorcycles) but aside from that it's fine.

Uncomfortable... because for someone to be significantly taller, they are huge and I'm not used to that.

No, I can only ever recall seeing one girl that was taller than me though and she was a giant (only saw her walk by didn't interact w her)

I'm about 188 cm... probably a couple more by now... just measured lol, closer to 190

My question to all male forumites is this - are you comfortable with your height? This being the internet, I'm aware that most of you are 6' 5+ and built like Adonis, but for those of you that fall more within the big bit of the bell curve (or maybe you're just built like a bell curve), my questions are simple.

What height would you strive to be?

How do you feel talking to somebody significantly taller than yourself?

Do you ever feel intimidated by somebody you're attracted to because of your height?

I'm 6'1, and very comfortable with my height. I'm right around the middle of all my friends, so I don't stand out as being too big or small. I'd say that right around six feet tall is a good height for a man, a couple inches taller for an athlete.

I consider talking to people much taller than me to be slightly awkward, in the sense that they'd be 6'5, and ridiculously tall.

The only time I felt awkward talking to a woman I was interested in is when she was the same height as me. I couldn't really get into that. I like shorter girls.

5'11" as a girl, about 180cm. :(

Reversing the roles.. I guess I don't really care if a man is shorter or taller than me. I wouldn't really like being overwhelmingly taller, though. I can't imagine being attracted to a very short man. Or short woman, for that matter.

Bro it's all about confidence, if you ARE that height then accept that you can't do much about it. Be yourself. I am fine with my height I stand 6 Feet Short.

6' here, I think how you carry yourself is more important, but I've known a lot of girls who won't date a guy shorter than them.

Either 5"10 or 5"11, I think it's the latter, wouldn't mind being 6", but that's just because 5"11 strikes me as an awkward number.

And I tend to like tall girls, (5"8~), but they tend to like taller guys than me :P
