Don't assume I'm gay

Post » Fri Sep 07, 2012 6:27 am

I am one of the hardest skinned individuals you will ever meet, but I have 0 tolerance for bigotry in any form. And THAT statement right up there, you don't even realize HOW bad that is do you? Well, with that single exclusionary phrase that betrays, I'm done with this thread. Here's hoping you never meet an easily offended gay "orc".

Are you messing now. You just took that line out of a sentence to make it look like something bad. I clearly said it wasnt because he assumed I was one of them yet you again cherry picked words to help your case. I hope you're just trolling because if not you are in need of help

Your roleplaying only makes half-sense because you're just transplanting modern real-world understanding of sixuality onto Fourth Era Tamriel.

That's premeditated murder. Add that its also a hate crime. This Orc needs to be sent to the chopping block, we have no need for his kind in the world.
Yeah, but Skyrim law is very poor. I mean, they let whoever kills someone in public go if you give them 1000 gold. Then thats it. no harm done. That's why I say it should be 100,000 gold if you kill someone for any reason. I shouldn't be given the choice to go to jail. It should be, pay a ridiculous amount of gold or go to jail. No one ever goes to jail in Skyrim and if they do you have a really poorly hidden way of escaping. :)

one of them

I think that's the phrase that controversial.

And in KDodds defense it is a bit offensive. But I understand that you really didn't mean it "that way."

Anyway, back to roleplay discussion. Your Orc is a jerk.

I'm pretty sure with the compounded crimes of it would just be a Kill on Sight Order.

Nah any crime should be able to be paid off, especially if you're part of the thieves guild.

Look for my original reply with that in it. I say my Orc was not offended because he assumed I was one of them he was offended by the assumption itself. Somebody who I think is trying to cause drama took out that part to make it look like I was bashing.

You've got to admit. Those in Cyrodiil find you even in the most hidden cave in the very corner of the map in no time. And those are the same lvl as you, so picking a fight with them is a no-no. :)

Pfff... look at High Rock. I travel from Daggerfall to the edge of the Wrothgarian mountains and all I can hear is "HALT!" "HALT!". Times that by 100, and you know you don't mess with High Rock.

So your Orc is offended because someone formed an opinion about him. He would also be upset that, say someone saw him in heavy Orcish armor and assumed that “That Orc must like heavy armor.” And for that if the Orc got wind of this assumption would plot and kill the person for thinking. Well shouldn’t your orc get to work killing everyone in Skyrim that ever lays eyes on him, because you what, they thought something about him.

Sorry. It is offensive, as is the whole post, it is an exlusionary phrase that is impossible to not "mean in that way". People who think, who truly think, in terms of equality think in terms of "us" and "we", and speak that way, not in terms of "those people", "them". And, therefore, would never say, "them" when conversing in this manner. To each his own, but it's a sad and bitter world when you have that in your heart, and I truly pity people like that.

An incorrect opinion. If someone seen my Orc is heavy amour and assumed I liked light armour, then I would kill them

By that logic, you should only have killed the argonian if he assumed you liked girls.

I agreed after he told me he was interested in me, which I suppose was a compliment but I'm role playing an Ork that gets angry at small things so......
ha it sounds like you're angry at the gay skeleton in your closet
"hey nice amulet dude"
"thanks man"
"you look good wearing it"
"thanks bro"
"so wanna get married bro?"
"um ok"
i now pronounce you man and man..."wait but im not gay!" smash smash smash (run away from my gay) :P

The only time I have mentioned them, at all, is when I was saying my Orc was not offended because he thought he was one of them. Meaning my Orc didn't care about the fact he thought he was gay but the fact he made an incorrect accusation

So only if, based on the very limited information the have on you, they end up with a wrong idea about your Orc that would be reason enough for them to be put to death. Well I would never be killed for thinking that your Orc is a danger to everyone and shouldn't mingle with civilization in any way.

Whats sad is how you people are always messing things up. We're having some fun about an orc (I'm sorry, Ork, I don't want to offend) and how he ended up in a wedding dress and almost married to a talking male lizard and then you people have to come in with your perfectly logical reason in a thread that does not require it! You people make me sick!

He's only a danger to people who make incorrect assumptions about him.
