Panel 2 - A staunch Admiral looking down at a gel-screen, a pool of liquid sitting in a brass and wire bowl sent into an intricate console. The Admiral looks very cross. Beside him is a minor bureaucratic clerk of the Nibenese fashion, goggles on, tattoos bright with sweat.

Admiral: Really? Seriously? I thought our ghost channel was secure from the Morbadoon.

Panel 3 - On the gel screen, its contents leaking onto the console as the fat, crazed face of the Morbad tries to materialize.

Morbad: Admiral Beauchamp? Is that you? It’s difficult for me to make you out. Stick your finger into it. Try for my face.

Panel 4 - As Panel 2, neither the Admiral or the Nibenese clerk have moved at all.

Took me about an hour long internet search to confirm what I assumed that meant. Good for you Mikey!

I liked this on several, equally fulfilling, levels.

1) This is setup like a comic, and I pictured it every step of the way as one. Particularly in a style reminiscent of what you might find in-between http://comicfencing.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/nightowls.jpg and http://romanticmrsheldon.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/supertron_sheldon_vella_0061.jpg, but yeah, Zuda Comics love.

2) The inclusion of the images and music was great, and really got me to picture all of this vividly in my inner eye. I read this slowly, playing the linked music as I read, allowing it to play out to the next linked musical score, which I would then let finish in its entirety before moving on to the next section. More works of literature should do this, I swear, it is probably the most stimulating thing ever.

3)Professor Numinatus and Cousin, I feel like we could go on great adventures together.

4) Merry, are you and Lady N going to turn this into an actual comic short or what?!?!
