I have the strangest, most [censored] up dreams ever. They are so freaky I don't think I can post them here. You'd all think I'm absolutely insane... Teehee:3 can verify this, I've told her about a couple of my dreams

I must not have any exciting or weird dreams, because I never remember them.

a lot of people dont remember them. plus you have heaps of dreams when you sleep and the only one you can remember (if you do) is the one you woke up in

I read somewhere that frequent dreaming is a sign of high intelligence.

Frequent dreaming or remembering dreams frequently? Nearly everyone almost always dreams, many people just don't remember the dreams once they wake up.

I do sort of dream when I wake up in the morning, but not exactly. I wake up first, and then when I close my eyes again I have what might be called a dream, were I not fully awake.

Same, except the Teehee:3 part.

On the bright side, my dreams have a complete lack of paranoia in them  just general weird (generally anime-related) stuff.

I have a dream journal, some dreams are weird, some are interesting, some are random. OP, pick a number between 1 and 228 and I'll post that dream here, provided it isn't too private :D

I had a dream once where robotic ninjas that were disguised as Barney the dinosaur were stealing my memories and taking them to mr. freeze from batman. That is the weirdest one I can remember off the top of my head.

2!

8th September 2007! (8th being the morning I woke up)

I was in a hall with stone paved floors and large windows, there was a door on the right near the corner and I was dancing in this hall, there seemed to be a second person there who was also dancing (the same as I was), then mirrored to me. It also felt like I was watching myself in the mirror, except there was no mirror on the wall. I then left the hall and came to a stairway with wooden stairs - it was several small flights of stairs going around a stairwell, very dark with no windows. I was following someone who didn't notice me. I came to a high ledge at the top of the stairwell and jumped down into a second hall with lots of tables and chairs, people were clustered in groups and I felt lonely. The people who were supposed to be in my group were late. The hall started to "merge" with the outside - it looked like buildings were inside, like a town inside the hall.
In the final part of the dream I was trying to pass through the wall into another dimension which needed a lot of concentration. It was difficult because there were people watching me (faces above me looking down) but I finally managed, the other dimension looked a lot prettier than where I started off.

I also have written down "hallway with many doors" which I assume was part of this other dimension but I actually can't remember that part of the dream any more xD

I can't think of anything specific, but for the last few years I've had dreams all taking place in the same (as far as I know, made-up) town. It has different locations (restauraunts, normally, for some reason) that my rather incoherent dreams take place in. It's a bit eerie, because I can't put my finger on the significance of this town.

I experience sleep paralysis at least once a month. I bloody hate it. The last time there was some thing that looked like a Dementor from Harry Potter standing over me. Freaked me out and when I finally was able to move, I checked my clock and it was only 3am. On a work night. So I spent the next three hours lying there, trying not to go back to sleep. Because If it happens once in a night, it always recurs as soon as I go back to sleep.

Mine was a nightmare, because it was a summarized version of the events that lead up to the break up with my ex last year. A voice at the end told me we were not meant to be together.

~_~ you know its serious when your own subconscious tells you this.

I don't dream too often, but I find it odd that most nightmares of mine contain scorpions, despite me harboring no fears about them in real life.

I never used to dream, then I went through a stage from about November until January where I was dreaming every night and now I have stopped again. A lot of dreams of being chased, not sure if there's any significance.

i always have nightmares
8th September 2007! (8th being the morning I woke up)

thx  feel free to post some more (try to find the weirdest dream and the most frightening dream you ever had, if you have time)

i ALWAYS have nightmares.. being chased, stabbed, trapped or being in prison.. stuff like that. sometimes i like having nightmares (because im weird) its like being a star in my own horror movie. apart from ones that include family members getting hurt.. i cant stand those :(

sometimes i scream in my sleep and wake myself up

sometimes if i wake from a dream, then go straight back to sleep, the dream will continue from where it left off

I haven't had a nightmare in, oh, something like 8 years. I remember the last one I had though. I was walking through my house, now deserted and dark, as some kind of police investigator. The reason I was there was to...investigate something.

As I entered the living room, still dark, I saw a hunched over monster on the far side of the room. It looked kind of like gollum from Lord of the Rings, only it was covered in long scraggly hair. You would think it was seaweed. I was filled with intense fear and that rush in your chest you get when you're in fight-or-flight mode. The creature turned its head and looked at me with bright yellow eyes.

And then I wasn't the investigator anymore. Right then the dream changed perspective and I was the monster. The investigator ran out of the house and I stood up and walked hunched over through the hall, with my hand on the wall. I tried to scream, but like most dreams it's hard to scream when you want to, and slowly banged my hand on the wall until I made some kind of sound.

Then I woke up.

I like to think I scare all prospective nightmares away. :P

Then I'm an idiot. I've not had a dream I could remeber in over two years.
