Afraid not, that's one term I have not heard before.
I'm not sure what the official term is for it. I'm from South-East England and, until recently, volunteered at a fort called Amherst. One of the tunnel areas here was blocked up. We only found it by mistake. And so we started digging. Eventually we came to a tunnel complex. It turns out it was part of a hospital used during WWII. There are a set of stairs that go up to what is now a council building. The stairs themselves are actually sealed off from the third or fourth step. They have been blocked off with "Royal Engineers cement". That is what the REs told us when they had a look - they have a barracks next door

RE cement is used to quickly seal off an area. Now, I doubt Beth would put that much thought into their game, but I wanted to share my passion with this theory on here
