Anyone spare a picther? Look at my team (try not to laugh) and see if anything interests you....thanks

I like Pence, but I'm stacked with 3 of the best pitchers and then it falls off dramatically. I don't have that middle guy to trade for him. :/

I tried to find a cool Opening Day video, but I couldn't. So, enjoy this instead!

That infographic has some lofty expectations there at the end. Chipper and Vlad the Impaler might hit 50 homeruns, and Tim Hudson could win 19 games?

I don't think they mean it's going to happen, just that they're close. But yeah...it ain't happening.

They implied.

I also just remembered you beat me in the first round, and went on to win the championship. I hate you.

Yea. I would like to see Halladay get 200 wins though.

Ah, so excited. Opener in 40 minutes baby!

I'm happy with the way my roster came out (after a few free-agent additions). There are only 6 of us in the league, so we all have All-Star teams either way . I wish I had another closer, but I wasn't willing to give up either of my 100K relievers in favor of a 30 save guy who'd only get 50 Ks. I've got Valverde, Walden, and Jansen, all of whom will get me saves, though the latter will probably only net me around 20.

Valverde 1 IP, 2 ER  (Blows first save of season)

Very happy with my pitching today, and as expected, my offense was completely underwhelming.

Watching the Dodgers-Padres... Through 3 innings I was cursing myself for not grabbing Volquez (who I really like this year) in the draft. After the fourth, I don't feel so bad.

Really liking what my staff gave me today. Hopefully I start getting some offense tomorrow and on into the weekend with everyone playing.

That turned out well!

I'm finally starting to get some offense. Keep rollin' Gauchos!

Me too, it's exciting not seeing so many 0's!

On top of that, my pitching staff is on fire. Lincecum unfortunately had a bad game last night, but I'm sure he'll turn that around, and if I keep putting up these numbers I'm going to be really happy.

Edit.

Yeah, my pitching is on fire. I didn't get to say that at all last year, it's a nice change. :P

What a close match-up we have going Siv. We are tied at 5-5 and except for SBs (you) and HRs (me) every catagory is almost tied. I was pissed when I saw what happened to Scherzer today until I realized you had started Bucholz. :D

Can't wait for a full week without the silliness of 3 or 4 different "Opening Days"

You're killing me in HR, but I figure that's how it'll be all year for me. I just don't have a whole lot of power. Buchholz though, 7 ERs in 4 innings, horrible. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to find out how Arod stole a base.

I saw that, but I didn't check to see he had 7 ERs in 2.2 innings. :yuck:
