I adore spiders in real life. This is actually kind of a drawback for me because so many movies assume I'll be repelled by the merest suggestion of a spider. The minutes in Shelob's lair in LotR, for instance, have absolutely zero tension for me. When I see the spider walking across James Bond's shoulder in Doctor No I think to myself, "Aw, how cute."

Ghosts are what scare me most in games and movies. There was a ghost in a house in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines that still sends chills down my spine even today, just thinking about it.

For bearophobes, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4308#content is much better.
This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.

Hmmm, specifically arachnephobia? you can either avoid it like with the modification shown above (if you're on PC or xbox 360).
Or you can naturally face your fear with instinct, which is what I'd do. Aye, I myself have got acridophobia but I deal with it well.

As you can imagine, locusts, crickets, grasshoppers are quite common these days; depending upon where you live exactly.
I've dealt with the phobia by simply following what my unconscious brain does against the threat that I've perceived: squish it.

It works most days, hell and I've extended it to all types of insects that bother me: moths, flies, nuptial ants, cockchafers, blue bottles.
In real life or games, I'd suggest to do the same. Just follow what your body wants to do, offering your nature to do what it does best.

Unless you're a usually flightful person, this should work as well as it has done for me. The instinctual part of your brain might
even decide to ignore it. After all, most spiders are not aggressive to humans unless provoked. So they're pretty harmless.
That was.... Very motivational. Im gonna man up!

Maybe strangely, I don't really mind Frostbite Spiders at all.

If anything Chaurus creep me out more.

I hate Charaus (Charauses? Charausi?) they sound creeping just walking.

Big spider, ok whatever. Spiders like the little black fuzzy spider of doom (as my sis calls it) and little brown spiders freak me out:
1. The brown one could be either Brown Recluse or could be a Brown Widow. Both be a bad thing and apparently both live in Texas where I am.
2. The Black fuzzy one's eye's glow, that and they click their mandibles a lot its weird.

*I also hate Camel Spiders cause then can run faster than you...*

I hate spiders, but anything with more than six legs is terrifying. Which is why I hate the chaurus. I can't go down to the basemant without screaming just because I think a centipede is lurking. I despise centipedes. At least the bees in Skyrim are passive. Unlike the giant bee-like demons that have been trying to take over the yard every summer.

I find frostbite spiders a useless addition to Skyrim. They are among the weakest enemies, but if they did't have them who would scare all the adventures who travel in snowy caves.

magnesium, bees hate it. Especially when you light it on fire. Same with a small dose of thermite. :) the more you know!

As much as I hate the bigass spiders that drop from the ceiling on your face, I hate the Chaurus much much more.

And... I can't stress this enough... the Chaurus have evolved into flying bugs! :ahhh:
We must hide our books from them lest they gain literacy!

They are too unrealistically large for me to be creeped out by them.

The zombies from Oblivion.

I had to face my fears all over again every time I entered an undead dungeon. It was my disdain for these rancid creatures that lead to the creation of my main character. A Shadehunter with training in Healing.

use this as an opprotunity to try to cure your arachnophobia either continue playing skyrim a game you enjoy or stop playing it due to a few creepy bugs. although fearing spiders to a certain extent is good for your life expectancy im not deathly afraid of spiders but if i see a large spider or a spider that i know for a fact is poisonous enough to kill a human i try to stay out of its way.

I hated their sounds so much. It's the thing that made them scary. :cold:

That very first zombie made me yell "Take me back to prison!". Even though I eventually killed it easily, it paralyzed the RL me on sight.

That happened to me when I saw the bees in Lands of Lore 1. The game may have had "terrible" DOS graphics, but those bees were so freakin' huge. My cat man was killed by them out of my fear. I couldn't protect the catman!

Yes, I play as a kitty in any game that lets me. Maybe I do dream of being a pretty kitty.

That aside... NOT THE BEES!

That was hilarious to me. Reminds me of that spider thing from Silent Hill Homecoming. Too bad I was too angry at that game to ever get past five hours of it... Yay for my regrets...

Too adorable to be scary. Now I find Grand Daddy Long Legs to be majestic. Every other spider can go die by the hands of Vivec's love!

Adorable spider.
What has humanity done?
(I actually like those little spiders. It's the "meaty" ones I'm afraid of.)
