Finaly gonna try a Mer out...

No, I always loved the Nords the most, but I did always play a dunmer in Morrowind. In Cyrodiil I played an Imperial more than my Nord, but I always favored them over imperials. It just makes more sense rp wise to me to play as the race that is dominant in the province. But now that the dunmer, nords, and imperials are out of the way, and all that is left is the races that I least care about, not counting redguards, I'll more than likely still be playing nords exclusively, unless we go to hammerfell. But my avatar will still remain the same. Not changing that.

Oh why would I ever think you would choose anything other than the Vanilla with Nuts of the Tamriel Baskin Robbins from here on out?

You keep telling yourself that...
I'll level with you. Most people probably don't like Bosmer because they're not what you'd call "macho men". I think most guys want to be a manly character, and Bosmer just don't hit that mark for the most part.

My Dunmer buddy. Always got my back.

You know it.

I think because of Colonel, I'm going to go elf now instead of human. With the exception of Bretons. At least they're part elf though xD
I dislike anyone who smack talks the use of bows.

Bows are great. Bows are a more elegant style of combat. Which is why elves have always been associated with the use of bows. Running in swinging a melee weapon isn't as smart in my opinion when you can sit back and handle your enemies from a distance. Until they close that distance, then you resort to melee combat.

See? Dunmer excel at ranged as well as close combat.

By nature we are great at Destruction magic and Swords.

If we can't blow it up or hack it to pieces with swords... then we'll blow it up while we hack it to pieces.

Most people call it multitasking.

Melee can be just as elegant. The things Redguards can do with a sword, I read somewhere is ridiculous. Slicing men up without making contact with their weapon. Gotta find where I read that.

Not sure, as you shouldn't. Nord for life...in TES anyway.

I've always liked the Dunmer and the Bosmer as far as elves go. Bretons are really cool too.

True that.

The Redguards beat the Dominion and forced them out of Hammerfell, and held them off without any help and where and entire Empire failed.

"A nord Dovahkiin"

Come one come all, listen to me for a spell,
As I tell you how I feel about mer in tamriel,
Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer...they're all the same,
There's no difference at all in this wonderful game,
It aint beths fault, they're not to blame,
Because if it aint a nord, then that person is lame,
Killing mer is my hobbie, you may say its mean,
But thats the favorite pastime of a nord dovahkiin,
Nord vs mer, its a clear cut winner,
First name Bodolf, last name mer killer,
Listen to my thu'um...as I cause a tremor,
Maken elves disappear like what happened with dwemer,
Shootin falmer with arrows, I'm a master of stealth,
And my kin are the cause of the fall of the snow elf,
I'm better than Ysgramor and he eats soup with a fork!
The weakest nord is still stronger than the strongest orc,
Putting Thalmor down...with my sword n' board,
If you dont like it, get out, Cuz Skyrim belongs to the Nords!

I think the Nords are probably capable of the same thing, but that remains to be seen I suppose.

My speculation is that we'll find out in a DLC soon. I don't think Bethesda will leave this topic open-ended for too long.

My prediction? The Nords go Chuck Norris on the Dominion.

Yeah, I have to agree. It will be a decent fight, but the Nords are great warriors.

No, didn't you see the sword n' board part? And I said:

I just don't like Bosmer because they look like wimps and use mainly bows. Epiphany of elf sissies. Now if they were like Legolas, that'd be different.

So they look like wimps because they're smaller than the other races basically? It's probably not wise to judge a Bosmer. You might find an arrow in between your eyes one day.

Not if you don't see them coming from afar or from behind.
Or first in the knee, the second one in the neck.

Yeah, because blocking an arrow is real easy to do when you don't see it coming.
