So very much worth it. Although it looks like the Europeans are kinda getting screwed because the main game is €12.5 ($16.5) here. Oddly enough, the Missing Link DLC is €2.75 ($3.64) so that's a good price.

But even at €15.25 for both together that's definitely worth it. :P

Just missed that Borderlands deal on Steam. What was it, the GOTY for $9?

Ah well, interested to see the next deal. Already own Mafia 2. Great game though, and for 4.99-7.49 you can't lose.

The new Indie Royale bundle is pretty cool, I've heard good things about Hard Reset. Probably worth it for that game alone.

Hard Reset looks nice but is quite short and linear. Pretty fun game however.

The midweek deal on Steam is Orcs must die and LA Noire. Everyone should own Orcs Must Die and at $5 for the game and DLC it is well worth it. It is a tower defense game that gets quite challenging in the later levels.

Today's daily deal on Steam is http://store.steampowered.com/app/107200/. That's the cheapest it has been so far I think. I've been keeping an eye on this one, it sounds good. I heard it had a free content update recently (edit: today actually) as well. Time for me to pick this up!

In anticipation of the upcoming DLC Fall of the Samurai; Shogun II is on sale for 75% off ($7.50) as well as the Rise of the Samurai DLC which is $2.50. Awesome deal for such a great game, I picked up the DLC instantly since I didn't have it yet.

Steam is so bad for Australia...

Steam's midweek madness deal is Portal 2 and the http://store.steampowered.com/sub/7932/, 50% off. A no brainer, really.

What the hell?

By the way, I played Shogun II through one who campaign and loved it. Wayyy more complex than Rome, and almost as fun as Rome.

Anyone else getting random coupons on Steam? Just got 66% off of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, and a friend of mine got two 50% off of Assassins Creed Revelations coupons

Hmm, you're right. I've got the revelations coupon too (50% off). If anyone wants it just give a shout as I have no interest in the series.

(coupon is valid until April 1st)

Yes, a lot of random Ubisoft coupon assign-age went on yesterday. And there was an odd glitch where, every time you quit and relaunched Steam, you'd get yet more coupons.

I've got two for 50% off AC:R myself. Not sure what all this is about, and Steam forums haven't got much of a clue either. Seems like they fixed the glitch (since I just launched Steam this morning and didn't get more coupons), but I've still got the original two coupons. wtf, Steam?

If it's a glitch it might be best to refrain from using the coupons for the time being?

The coupons themselves don't seem to be a glitch...just the part where you can get exponentially more of them. And said exponential coupons have been yanked, according to reports on the Steam forums--but at least one or two coupons have stayed behind, which suggests the actual handing out of the coupons doesn't seem to be a glitch.

As near as people can guess, the number and type of Ubisoft coupons you get seem to relate to the games you already own. For example, I don't own any of the Might & Magic / Heroes games, so I didn't get any of those coupons. But I do own Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 through Steam, so I got two coupons for AC:R. Seems to be some sort of ninja loyalty reward.

They're probably safe to use, but if you're worried about it, wait a few days and see what happens. They don't expire until April 1st anyway.

Is Assassin's Creed: Revelations worth it then? I liked the first one as an OK game. I think I payed $20 for it, but I think it was probably worth about $10. I didn't play the 2nd one, but heard it was better. And the 3rd?

I felt Revelations was weaker in content than either 2 or Brotherhood, but I did enjoy the location a lot.
All three are generally superior to the first game imho.

Looks like it's Square-Enix weekend over on Steam. Their entire catalog is 50% off through the 26th, with individual titles/franchises discounted for daily deals. Today's daily deal is http://store.steampowered.com/sale/squareenixweekend2012.

Given that makes the complete pack a grand total of $6.74 USD, if you've got any interest in the series...go for it. They really are excellent games if you're into the stealth assassination type, although the first game (Codename 47) has...not aged so well. And is bordering on Nintendo hard in some spots. Blood Money's definitely well worth it though.

And now I go back to hoping for a steeper discount on the Dungeon Siege complete pack.

Hitman: Blood Money is great. I suppose if you can get the whole Hitman bundle for 2 euros more than Blood Money on its own then you might as well get the whole bundle, but Blood Money is the one you want. Hitman 2 is pretty good too, but they really nailed it with Blood Money.
