Another http://www.humblebundle.com/ is up. This time it's Zen Bound 2, Canabalt, Cogs, Avadon: The Black Fortress, and, if you pay more than the average, Swords & Soldiers. I believe they're all available on Android (maybe iOS as well) and the Android versions are included.

The way it works, for those not familiar with it, is that you pay any amount you choose, how that money is distributed between the developers, https://www.eff.org/ (which stands up for internet/technology users, amongst other things), and http://www.childsplaycharity.org/. You get DRM-free install files for every OS the games run on, and you often get Desura or/and Steam keys too.

Because the money transfer alone costs money (in addition to hosting of file, etc.), I highly recommend you pay at least a couple of dollars. They're doing this awesome thing and trusting you to do right by them, so the least you can do is not cost them money :).

The only coupon I got is 75% off EVE Online, which I already own. The game is already on sale and I think the coupon stacks with that, if anyone wants it.

Any opinions on the games in this one?

So I bought Shogun 2 yesterday within the last fifteen minutes of the sale. It's been downloading since yesterday. Fifteeen Gigabytes... that's a big game.

Fallout collection is the daily deal on Steam. It is Fallout 1 and 2 as well as tactics for just under $7.

That's $3. And because GOG is awesome that's also €2.25.

Someone tell me about Trine, I am one of the few that haven't played it. It is only $2 on Steam but it appears to be a platformer which doesn't interest me.

Telling me it is a really good platformer won't convince me, I need to knowo that it is something different.

What accent is that? The guy sounds so stiff.

Anyway, it's ^ a new (?) video for Legend of Grimrock. Check it out. If you pre-order from GOG.com, you even get 20% off.

It's a platforming hack-n-slash! It's also ridiculously pretty.

Edit.

And when I say ridiculously pretty, I mean insanely pretty. The second one is insanely insanely pretty.

If you know that game with the three Vikings you switch between, each having a particular ability, it's similar to that, but different. I can't remember the name, though :hehe:.

THE LOST VIKINGS?

SOMEONE MADE A LOST VIKINGS-LIKE?

I must buy Trine off gog.com now...

I have the original and still play it from time to time. :D (Great game. The second one was quite a miss, though.)

Good Old Ponies is having a sale today called Activision Treasures. I can't vouch for any game except Arcanum, which is pretty much a must buy at $3.

Edit.

Turns out their new downloader is super fast.

Edit II.

I've also realized GOG website looks simply amazing, pun intended.

Return to Zork and Zork: Grand Inquisitor are pretty good first-person adventure games that don't take themselves seriously, worth it if you can endure the cheesy acting.

I hadn't tried the downloader yet. Yeah, it's fast! No 'servers are too busy to handle your request' here.

It does, I love the style. Even the game installer looks slick.

I picked up DX:HR and DX: GOTY edition during the steam sale. Best $10 I ever spent.

It's nice to be able to play Roller Coaster Tycoon again, on my Win7 machine! Thanks GoG. :celebration:

I was good at making unfinished roller coaster tracks in which carts spectacularly crash. :hehe:
