The House of Horrors- Tyranus won't head downstairs to the locked door, he just stands in the foyer saying "There's no way out, there's no way out..." (even though the door to Markarth is still unlocked)
- I kill him anyway (since that's what the quest requires I do, according to a walkthrough) and get Molag Bal's message about descending further
- I activate the altar and go through the dialogue tree
- No matter how I respond to Molag Bal, the upstairs door (to Markarth) remains locked and says "This door cannot be picked; you need a key."
I've tried waiting, sleeping in the bed, reloading my save, and clearing my cache – but nothing fixes the issue(s). It's very frustrating, since the auto-saves are all replaced with me exiting the house and re-entering (and if I step outside, the entire world is rumbling like the inside of the house).
Bethesda: is there any way I can send you my save file so you can override this? I imagine it would be fairly easy – just take my save, open up the dev console, and force the quest to continue. Or something like that: I'm sure you can work your magic and make something happen!
This is the only gamebreaking bug I've encountered so far, though, so overall I'm pretty impressed with Skyrim
