honest hearts,good or bad

You know, as beautiful as the environment was in HH, it also made me sad. Having been to Zion National Park, it really drove home just how much everything is scaled down.

I also thought it felt a bit empty, but then I've been playing with mods like IWS. So that might account for that.

Personally, overall, I enjoyed it more than DM.

I've played it about 2 hours and I'm about 20% of the way through so no concrete statements yet but I absolutely love what I've seen so far. It's definitely worth the purchase.

i feel the same way but, how do you know you're 20% of the way through?

I enjoyed it, The Burned Man Exceeded my expectations. His story was so in depth and I haven't been immersed by a game like that since, well ever actually. Very Very inspiring story. The only thing I didn't like about him was that he emptied a full clip of .45 ammo into every tribal he saw which was a little over kill and you would figure that since he was defeated at Hoover Dam that instead of leading his tribe in a straight up assault that he would instead use a more stealthy approach. Or pull off something like what happened at boulder city by moving the sorrows out of the narrows and when the W.L.s came looking for them blow up part of the mountain and cause an avalanche.

Got home last night after spending the week away and bought Honest Hearts, played it till about 3am, despite the fact that I'd been traveling all day.
I've played it for another 4 hours or so today and I have to say I love it, it may well be my favourite Fallout DLC to date.
It's vast, with some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire game, has plenty of new enemies, weapons and items, and some great characters.
I felt a litte bit cheated by Dead Money, but this is superb.

the main problem with honest heart is lack of energy weapons and explosives only one of each and they arent that great also character disappearing when i didnt get the ending where that would make sense isnt a good thing either

Only one unique of each. I was pleasantly surprised to find some very powerful energy and explosived weapons tucked away in the dlc. For someone playing with one of those specialties, at least there's a few items to pick up for repairs or to better what you brought, if you brought light.

Although, I think I did find a bug. They must have screwed up the loot lists for the containers that spawn exploxived ammo. I frequently found one (1) 25mm or one (1) 40mm round in containers. I'm pretty sure that was a mistake in the form list for the container loot. What the hell do I do with ONE grenade round? Make a nightlight out of it?

-gunny out.

I enjoyed HH for the most part, pretty much have a similar opinion of most I guess. Enjoyed the areas, crafting, the survivalist stuff. Didn't quite care for the companions too much, and the quests were too simple (go to pt A, retrieve item, etc). Also I wish there was more RP interaction with the Burned Man. Worth 10$ though, but not my favorite DLC.
