So honestly now, who is LOVING Skyrim?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 7:22 pm

Now I know there are these glitches, texture faults, and etc. but they will eventually be fixed. I for one haven't run into any huge problems on the PS3 version yet other than a snow texture problem where it looks like Borderlands textures haha. Other than that, I've been absolutely loving this game. I'm 10 hours in and barely have touched the main quest. There is just so much to do. I'm going to pick up Skyrim for the PC also (mods and I'm more a PC gamer either way.) Thank you Bethesda for delivering such an amazing game again. I'm still playing Oblivion to this day even with Skyrim out, but I mean mostly Skyrim right now ;) Skyrim leaves me speechless and it will keep me busy and having fun for a long time.

My question to all of you is... Who is loving this game, setting aside the minor faults that will be fixed soon? Who has lost complete track of time playing this game, hours fly by? Haha!

Everything is working fine for me. I feel bad that some are experience issues, I just hope that computer savvy TES vets can help them find the solutions they need.

On PC. This game will last me a long, long time. It's like they took everything that made Morrowind and Oblivion great, listened to all the feedback, then delivered in a big way. This is better than Morrowind, imho, and that's saying something.

Aside from the occasional pop-in, this game is perfect.

In my opinion, obviously.

I played for 11 hours straight yesterday, slept 6 hours, and will probably play all day today. It's a good thing I took some days off, or I'd be tearing my hair out at work. This game is almost too good.

I absolutely love this game, it's so awesome. Whatever issues I have are minor compared to the awesomeness of this game.

Just had my first crash on XBox 360 ... not sure how far I am in but it feels like about 8-10 hours. Oh, and yes, I'm absolutely loving it. Glad I didn't spoil it at all, because going to place to place trying to work out what I'm supposed be doing is what everyone's first 30 hours are about!

Agreed with this statement, except i'm on 360 right now.

11 Hours in and loving every minute. Sad I have to work today.

It's great, but it's also daunting!

Soooo many perks to choose from,
Soooo much crafting to do,
Soooo many skills to level,
Soooo many dungeons to explore,
Soooo many sidequests...

:ahhh:

(At some point "lots of options" starts to feel like "too many options" and you start to get overwhelmed. :D)

Me too! I ended up buying on both platforms, but am doing the playthough on PS3 first until we get confirmation of the Xbox texture issue getting patched.

I don't understand some of the complaints about various levels of graphical capabililty on PS3. As you can see, unless I have no perception of what looks good, I am more than happy with the texture quality, graphics, sharpness and draw distance.

Am I missing something?

I love it. I played the game for around 13 hours yesterday and the scenery as well as the quests are just bloody amazing. I ran into a texture problem where the trees turned into purple blobs but it was nothing a quick restart couldn't do
