How strong are your fully perked werewolves now?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:24 am

If I have this right, the first perk when taken 4 times grants 100% damage bonus. Considering the highest level beast forms hits for 80 damage, we're talking 160 damage per swing, boosted by x2 and x3 power attacks.

How hard are your wolves hitting?

The werewolf kinda svcks. They're stronger thanks to the 4 extra damage perks and extra health perk. but they're werewolf howls are glitchy as hell

lol.... dunno what your talking about.

I only have 2 perks into damage and I am one-shotting almost any npc.
The damage perks are insane boosts and the health/stamina perk makes it possible to survive for quite a few hits.

That with "totem of the moon" perk which gives you 2 full powered werewolf pack members and you become unstoppable. Never had a glitch with the howls yet.

Before the DLC I never transformed as I would get slaughtered.

With the DLC I turn into a werewolf almost every time I leave a city and have not died once yet.

I've faced nothing but trouble with the werewolf. totem of fear doesnt work. Summoned werewolves knock enemies I am executing out of my hands susequently making those enimies unkillable. I also seem to do less damage with the wolves summoned and I have all four levels of the damage perk

Good, a deserved boost to the beast form.

How does the two werewolf allies work? Are they spectral or do they just come running from the scenery?

I've always used the howl of fear, upgraded with the totem and the perk I imagine it affects nearly everything. I use it mostly as it has a short recharge time, if you howl mid feeding you skip the animation, so it allowed quick feeding. Are the new powers worth it?

spectral... which was kind of disappointing until I saw them tear apart a whole bandit fort in seconds without me even moving.

plus it recharges so fast that the second one of them dies you can just resummon them again.

This is all good news. Would you Xbox players and former beta testers give this poor PS3 player details on the perks and how they're working out for you thus far?

They are the same powers you had before the dlc except for summon werewolves ( I Think, I don't remember), but now you have to unlock the perk before aela sends you on the totem hunt.

4 perks of 25% damage increase
1 perk that doubles health and stamina (confirmation? not at my xbox)
1 perk that doubles health gained from feeding
1 perk that allows you to feed on most creatures as well as NPC's
1 perk upgrades fear howl
1 perk upgrades sight howl
1 perk upgrades wolf summon to ice wolf summon
1 perk upgrades Ice wolf summon to insanely powerful werewolf summon.

Its glorious.

^^ for above comment, you do not have to get the perks to get aela's quests. I got the DLC before I did the totem quests, did the totem quests for her, then unlocked the associated perks.

So then does she send you on the hunt as soon as you unlock the perk? Also, how does that work out for people who already have the totems? Finally, can howls be selected from the Favorites menu like the VL powers?

The totems work the same where you have to pray to them and can only have one at a time. I do not know what happens if you already have the totems. I didnt even know the existed before the dlc. Which is funny since i bought the guide when the game first came out

thats false about getting the perks for her to send you on the quest, she does the quests like normal.

people who already have the totems just have to unlock the perks

no favorites menu, you have to go to the underforge to swap out.

Do you end up summoning the ethereal wolves, ice wolves, and werewolves, or do the perks just improve one another and you can only ever summon two allies? That is, will a fully-perked werewolf summon ice wolves and werewolves or just werewolves who are an upgrade to the ice wolves?

I laughed a bit imagining the situation. It's why I'm dabbling in nercomancy. Then I can get my mysteru crew rollin. I'm the chuck norris version of Scooby doo. God I love new werewolves. It's so much fun.

Is this a glitch or did they change your health bonus from 100 to 50 in beast form. I had 500 health before dawnguard and when i entered the perk tree for the first time in beast form I had 550. now with the extra health perk i have 650, it should be 700. anyone else have this happen or am i just unlucky.
