Once you go Molag Bal, you never go back...
I think when you do the "deed" with bal I think doing the "funky" loses its meaning.

Well any thread that involves bal devolves into innuendo jokes, well all the molag bal threads I have been in.

She doesn't like temples? What the hell kind of an excuse is that? Why not use an amulet of bats to marry her in that very cathedral with the shrine of Molag Bal?

Vampires do not need to abide by damn mortals and their Aedric deities! Common sense, Beth! But I guess trolling the fans is amusing -_-/

Lol, yeah. Especially considering she was likely around before the Divines even became a religion in Tamriel. The very fact that she is surprised when you mention a Cyrodilic Empire is a testament to her age. We're talking about a woman thousands of years old in the form of a 20-something year old. I highly doubt she'd be interested in mortal concepts such as romance, other than as a means to manipulate. Not to mention the whole fact that she got screwed by Molag Bal.

Also, prior to the whole "Divines" concept, the Nords didn't believe in "marriage". Simply being with and living with their loved one was enough. They didn't need nor care for the whole pomp "marriage" ceremony/contract. If you ask me, the real world can learn a lesson from that.

Next DLC should have you able to remarry. Most of our Dovahkins from the looks of it are widowers for killing off their marriage couple. Also it would be nice to drop inventory items like clothes to your spouse. From adding Dawnguard DLC Bethesda promotes total annihilation of cities and towns.

Just posted on another thread all the things I tried to get her to marry me, reading this thread just gave me an idea, and reminded me another thing I tried and didn't work.

Went to Molag's shine thought activating it might work - Nope!!

But what if you could do the "deed" yourself with Molag before she say's yes - now that would be something!!!!

...so you want Molag Bal to show the Dovahkiin his pet dragon? Because I hear that it's pretty spiky and doesn't care if it's using the entrance or exit.

Yeah, why can't you get your wife anything. Mine gives a cut of her store profits but I can't even give her a dress? I could give her jewelry but I get that for free. I'm only home to drop stuff off and I'm always with Serana now. She can't divorce me 'cause I spend all my time with another woman. Unless her and my proudspire house karl are more than friends and she's cool with me out and about. Hmmm, maybe next time I'm home I should talk to the wife about her, me, the house karl, Serana....anyway why does my wife have to wear the same dress?

Actualy he already gives you something for that. You do have Molag Bal's ''Mace''. Why do you think he gave you it. Now go and use it.

Yeah, did you see the petition to marry Serana? Over two thousand people signed it!

Google these words: Marry Serana.

You will see tons of websites from Gamestop to even Yahoo Answers to Youtube comments asking if or why we can't marry Serana. This is crazy! So many people want to marry her it is insane!

Because there isn't a reason too. My characters see her as there "soul mate" but she is a vampire, so she doesn't care for Mara. Also, I don't want her to just sit at home and give me a meal like my wife, and I doubt she would do that, she seems to like adventuring and if you asked her to make you a meal she would likely tell you to make it yourself

on topic: I am quite sure Bethesda hired the voice actress of Serana because she has major talent. But with all the recent vampire franchises influencing Dawnguard, I can't help but wonder if they looked at Bloodrayne. She http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc1JcTGCNv8&feature=related Rayne in that game too. A vampire halfbreed rather than pureblood.

Then take her with you. It's more of the satisfaction that player feels from marrying to her rather then having her sit at home and cook dinner. My Aela knows about her and doesn't mind. She actualy enjoy's thresomes in beast forms >=]

Do you think Laura Bailey would be more flattered or creeped out by the fan response to her character? my guess would be mostly creeped out.
