Bethesda just decided not to add the option plus they wanted to see the tears of the fans when they found out one of the most fleshed out followers cannot be wedded.

Aside from Bethesda not wanting you too mary the only character with a personality she dislikes Temples since she was [censoured] in one by Molag Bal

Yeah.... call me when dovahkin can finally marry her no matter how nice you are she still refuses. Honestly I like serana as a traveling companion and as a friend for my characters. I don't have the DLC only watched videos and read people's reports on the forums and it seems to me that if you are a vampire and you cure it serana starts tempting you to come back. Someone even says she flirts slightly about giving you vampirisim again maybe she just wants the dovahkins blood since she did taste it when you wake her.

Plus the marrying is a practice if mara and she is a follower of bal.

Ok. Give me and few more people a few more therapy sesions with her and Bethesda crew and you will not only be able to marry her you will be able to take her right there in the temple with everyone watching. Or wait for a Pc mod. Hell,now I have to buy DLC for my pc too to get that mod.

As I said in my previous post I don't really want to marry her but if bethesda adds the option for PC/ps3 release we will get less topics asking if you can marry her and if they still don't add the option oh boy there will be ALOT more "can we marry serana?" topics. :biggrin:

But without divorce and this late in the game most that wanted to marry did, so they probably said why? She stays with you after the MQ and she can't die so, Bethesda is saying they don't believe in divorce but cheating on your wife is cool. Plus if you're married in your hearts does it matter if some dude in a temple says you're official? It's not like you get tax breaks of any other legal benefit in the game. Plus this is a game, if it was real life you would've been dead before the first dragon you found ate you and you would've never met Serana. First arrow in the knee and you wouldn't be dancing like the dude in the LMFAO video.

Most of the players started the new characters for this DLC specifily. And her personality makes most wander if she would have just as good dialogues as your wife

The main reason I would like to marry her is so I can find her easily when I want her as a follower. I went to Fort Dawnguard looking for her once after fininishing the main quest. I looked all over the place and couldn't find her. Wait 12 hours, and finally she shows up. So for me the biggest reason to marry is so that se will stay put somewhere in your house.
