Howcome you cant marry Serena?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:37 am

Do you think Laura Bailey would be more flattered or creeped out by the fan response to her character? my guess would be mostly creeped out.
Why? Fans like her character for personality much more then her voice.

Yep. She was in Fallout, I believe.

Lust in both iterations of Full Metal Alchemist, Anko Mitarashi in Naruto, Maka Albarn in Soul Eater, Catherine in ..... Catherine, Rise Kujikawa in Persona 4, Helena Harper in upcoming Resident Evil 6, Alicia Valera in Gears of War III (Raam's Shadow DLC), Serah Farron in both FFXIII and FFXIII-2, and the list goes on.....

I will forever give props to Bethesda for bringing in on of my favorite voice actresses of all time to work on this dlc.

Ha I bet bethesda knew full well that people wanted to marry her I mean the rejection dialogue is there from serana.

I mean honestly serana had six with a god dovahkin cannot top that.

Dovahkin is the next best thing "fus ro hump" and Serana will be mine when the PC version comes out.

As sad as it sounds I will be buying pc version dlc exactly for this reason. For no one can stop PC users from marrying her.

Yes, those too. Except I only knew her from Bloodrayne, Fallout and Skyrim.

...so you want Molag Bal to show the Dovahkiin his pet dragon? Because I hear that it's pretty spiky and doesn't care if it's using the entrance or exit.

When you say PC users can "marry" her, does that mean you get an option for her to move into your house? Cause that is the main reason I would like to "marry" her, so she will be easier to find if I want her as a follower, just like my House Carls are easy to find.

Probably. By pc being able to marry her I mean the Mod, and who know what modder will have her do

That's something I always wanted. The ability to kick out your housecarl and have a follower move in. Me and Kharjo would have so much fun drinking mead and throwing parties. Lydia is so dull. Haha. Although, I'd much prefer living with Serana.

Because there isn't a reason too. My characters see her as there "soul mate" but she is a vampire, so she doesn't care for Mara. Also, I don't want her to just sit at home and give me a meal like my wife, and I doubt she would do that, she seems to like adventuring and if you asked her to make you a meal she would likely tell you to make it yourself

I cured her. There. Now what? No excuses.

I know. I cant even bring myself to marry Aela like I normally do, because I bring Serana with me everywhere, and I'd feel guilty, lolz. I cant do it.

Hang on, "she politely rejects a marriage proposal stating her uneasyness around temples and bad experiances with them" i just read that on the wiki, but how can you get rejected if you cant even propose to her?

I had posted in another thread about all the things I did to try and win Serana around, I got the dialouge option when in the run down section of Volkihar keep looking for her mother, and about 3 rooms after that you come across a ruined Mara temple in the Keep, the statue of Mara is as plain as day. So whats the rubish about temples she could married you there.

Beth. needs to fix this and I have read arguments about how they wouldn't provide a patch to a DLC to fix it. Well I got the answer another DLC say a Vampire and Werewolf marragie pack, I'd pay money for it - How many others would feel about this.

My solution for Kharjo is to hand him over to the Blades. That way when ever I want him, I know right where to find him. I also give Janessa to the Blades. That way I don't have to shell out 500 septims everytime I want her as a follower.

Wouldn't be aginst them adding it, but still she was an active supporter of molag bal even before becoming a vampire, so I bet she would feel uneasy in the temple.

That's just the reason I made up for myself to cope with it though

Her family was. She doesnt actively support Molag. Thats the impression I got. Seems like her father pushed it on her.

Honestly, although it would be great to marry her I see no real point to it. Now before you shoot me down and feed on my blood just hear me out. I find marriage in Skyrim to be a pointless thing besides locking a follower into a easy to find location. Sure they give you a couple of hundred coins every few days, but so what? If I, or i'm sure many of you, just dipped into the storage space of your houses ou could easily pull out several items that you don't need that more then make up for what your spouse gives you. That's not to say that free money isn't bad, but that rather we don't really need it with how easy it is to make money in the game.

I'd rather Bethesda upgraded the benefits of marriage to be more then just money and the lovers comfort bonus. Which btw I can't get on my 360 because no matter I do the game just gives me the well rested bonus.

My rant aside though, if they made Serana marriageable i'd be ok with that.

Just throwing in my 2 cents here, don't mind me.

Are you a vampire? I'm on the 360 and I find I'm only getting the well rested bonous if I sleep in a coffin now.
