An Idea of how Vampires and Werewolves Could Have Been Done.

I don't think WWs of VLs should take damage while transforming. This would make them more viable in combat.

I used to think the same thing, but now, I think its fine, cuz it makes the player think where and when is it appropriate to use your transformation, which to me is a good thing, so people arent using them in every single battle.

Then they will be over-powered because there will be one less weakness. Being vulnerable while transforming was the point.

Yeah, that's the one feature that will make them over powered. They're pretty much useless as it is. I'm just trying to give them some use.

Lets not start this again. They're NOT useless. Far from it if u know how to use them wisely.

I know, they are far from useless and they do not need to be invincible while transforming.

The whole werewolf deequiping everything when transforming becomes tiresome after a while, because you have to sort through all your items/powers to reequip the ones you wanted. If you were able to favorite complete ensembles including equipment/weapons/armor and powers, so you could reequip everything all at once with the touch of a button, it would make things much nicer, and not just for werewolves.

Sounds a bit lazy to me. To each his own. I wont say no to the idea though. Just sounds unnecessary to me. They could just make it to where everything stays on like Farkas does. And since VL's keep their clothes on.

I think re equiping items is the price of being a werewolf I did not like the price so I stopped being one.

I think it's basic design interface really. The less buttons you have to press to execute commands that you use frequently, the better. That's the entire point of shortcuts in the first place.

When compared to the normal character yes they are useless. I've used both, and I much prefer to play as my normal character, because he's much stronger, and less restricted. A lot more useful overall.

But, this is all off topic. Sorry about that.

Still, all u have to do is press b, then a a couple times to equip. Hardly a problem. What I wish they'd do is let me customize my werewolf, as far as color and size goes. Maybe eye color and scars too.

Maybe not customisable but maybe different races have different looking werewolves in size and color?

As long as it isn't things like green werewolves for the Argonians and stuff like that, I'd be mostly okay with different races having different models for their werewolf forms.

I think it would be cool to see various skins of werewolves in general though. Black wolves, arctic wolves, timber wolves, etc could be different designs for the werewolves.

The equip thing doesn't matter much to me since I've played more time as a wolf than as my Khajiit. When I do change back I'll have all my equipment in favorites (strictly my equipment besides Fire Breath) to enter towns or start quests. Once I leave I'm back to going wolf, travel is quicker, I get no bounties mauling people, I'm probably much stronger as a wolf (armor and damage wise) than I am as Dovakiin.

No that's false. My Khajiit (female) wolf form looks like my Nord (male) wolf form is size and color. They both look gray and are the same size third person view wise.

Pretty sure they were putting that forth as a suggestion, rather than saying that's the way things currently are.

Sounded like a question. That'd be nice if we could do that though. Nords would probably be Ice WW, redguard plains wolves, etc.

Different skins would be nice as long as it isn't over the top. I think they should add more effects on your normal character rather than just disease immunity. Maybe increased speed and strength, and a type of hunter vision that lets you see more clearly in the dark and it detects life.

Perks from the WW tree can do that detect life already. The night vision thing would be useful if it actually got dark in Skyrim, I have no use for my Khajiits Night Eye since my game is bright enough to see no matter if its dark or not.

There is a Night Eye ability for Werewolves in the game's code (works the same as the Khajiit's racial power and the vampire variant) but it was cut for unknown reasons. That's on my wishlist for the lycanthropes, along with enhanced unarmed combat and some other abilities added to human form.

Yeah, nighteye is pretty useless in Skyrim since it doesn't get that dark. Even in dungeons it doesn't get that dark.

It'd still be nice for rp purposes. And I've heard Dawnguard has darkened the dungeons.
