Your uninstall guide is referring to Fallout. :tongue:

Edit: To clarify, on the Nexus page.

very nice swords i honestly expected impractical and flashy but these swords are great except the second to last sword looks like it would be painful to hold after awhile.

i assume you are referring to the shiavonna?
ya, kinda feels that way from looking at them but once you hold one youll see that its actually quite comfy and that cage really gives a comfortably safe feeling, you cant of course change grip or whirl em around like a normal sword but thats not how you fight with these anyway, you stab, par and chop, often in combination with a dagger, no fancy moves needed to strike down your foe ;)

When the CS comes out, I would like to see some of these weapons added to the list of weapons that random bandits can potentially be spawned with.

@wayman
yeah thats what i intend to do ;), but im too lazy to do that with TESSnip... needs a nice quest script to distribute the items and stuff like that which simply is too tideous to create in hex imo, CS oh CS where art thou

@kitty
ya well, thanks to you lol

Did the same with my own weapon set in Oblivion and will do it again in Skyrim, but never distributed it because it required modifying equipment tables, NPCs, etc. Way too many conflicts with other mods.

you dont need to modify any of these anymore Arriere, you simply create a quest script that puts all your stuff where it belongs ingame and then ends that quest, maybe even adding a simple message to the player that the job is done, that way you wont overwrite any other mod tho other mods might still overwrite yours if written "dirty" ;)

Excellent work. I was waiting for some realistic blades, vanilla Skyrim swords are very ugly

All swords are available for crafting (100 skill) even those where you don't have a perk.
But those swords are less upgradable so it is still better to craft a sword where you do have a perk.

Also all swords take the same mats (1 iron, 2 strips, 2 steel) to craft and improve (1 steel)..

I don't know if it is intended as such.

V05
Only other mod I have is Ore veins 300 (texture replacer to make them more visible in dungeons)

I'm liking the look of the Akaviri standard sword. Quick question can these be upgraded at the grindstone?

Edit: Uhhh...yeah they can, sorry read the description. Thanks for these.

I second this. Just include some straight swords though lol. First bonifide mod for me for Skyrim right here.

@dinaminjo
ya well, its kinda hard still to get that sorted out without a CS XD, give it a few weeks and that should be more polished

@dunmer weaponry,
you mean like those chitin weapon from morrowind?

If that's even possible yea ;) But lacking chitin and 200 years after Vvardenfell maybe they incorporate their styles into 'regular' steel weapons.

Np man, just asking what is intended in the mod and reporting any disparancy.
Love the swords, will be keeping an eye on it.

Hoping to see some "lower" quality weapons ex. steel that does comparable dmg to ebony or deadric but requires unique mats and very high skill.

once the CS gets released i can bother with all that stuff but atm im really kinda restricted lol, am happy i got those ingame at all lol,
i mean its not like i didnt try ;)

nevertheless thx for the tipps, can sure need any input and ideas for later...

was even thinking of simply creating a bunch of blades, fittings and handles and have the player assemble those before the final sword can be assembled from them, would prolly be alot of work but in the end most likely be awesome, "choose your crossguard" :D
just svcks that there would be tons of possibiliies but lets say creating different tsubas for a katana sounds feasible to me, would be easier tho if a script could create a static collection from other statics so i wouldnt have to create every possible outcome

Can they still be bought at the Skyforge, even with the greatsword update? My character's bad at smithing so it'd be great if shelling out hard cash could allow you to aquire these.
