I know some Japanese, a little Chinese, and used to know a little Spanish. I'd like to learn Russian and Italian, and German and something middle eastern. I'm more interested in a basic understanding of grammar and vocabulary than fluency, it's the sentence structures and cultural ticks that fascinate me.

The best way to learn Arabic is to be immersed in it I would say. If it's possible, spend a few months in an arabic speaking country. After you stop laughing at the ridiculously deep voices of spongebob and squarepants in Arabic (if you ever stop laughing..), I think you'll learn it quicker than any other way.

I speak English and French.

I can read and translate some Koine Greek, currently learning Latin. Will be learning a bit of kanien'keha (Mohawk) later in the year.

I want to learn Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and German.

Arabic (only some basics - Lebanese dialect; vocabulary and understanding of structure limited, pronunciation abilities very good - parents + family Lebanese, not much contact with general family so little chance to actually speak the language hence limited vocabulary and structure, but grew up hearing + singing it so very good pronunciation)
French (lack wide vocabulary, but have pronunciation and understanding of structure down)

I only speak English, but I really want to start learning Japanese again, I learnt it for about 3 years or so, but now I can't remember much more than a few words. I can still remember most of the kana though, so thats a start.

I also want to learn German, I'm hoping that Duolingo website works out.

Danish (I know the basics of Danish and how it works but my vocabulary is lacking, if I improve that a bit by practicing it more then I could read, write and speak it without problems)

It would be pretty cool if I could find some MMO to play in Japanese that I could use to learn the language much in the very same way I learned most of my English. Only problem is that I don't even have the basics to start learning by practicing through chatting with people.

I can read Arabic, but I would love to understand it and able to speak it.

Would love to learn any these following language as well: any of the Chinese language would be fine for business reason and/or Japanese and Vietnamese for entertainment values.

Oh crap, now that my waifu is a pony all my Japanese education has been wasted.

Who know, maybe one day Japan might be infected with the pony virus and one might use their knowledge to read the bloggers or those videos when it happen.

I've always wanted to learn Russian, but I'm not very good with languages. My grasp on english is instinctive, and not really through education. I can tell you if a sentence is right/wrong (barring comma splicing) but I can't tell you why. If you start talking about clauses, infinitives, etc. I'm pretty lost.

I only know English. Tried lerning Welsh in school bt the lessons svcked.

I should try and learn it again. Also want to know some words in diffferent European languages because I want to visit some places and it would be useful to actualy know some of their language.
