Playing a game where you are occasionally required to perform an action visually represented by shoving a foot long dagger into someones throat to end their life as blood spurts out everywhere is no big deal. But showing a little cleavage or implying that a man would have sixual relations with a woman is what offends someone. Sorry if I sound critical, but I just don't get it.

It depends on the use of sixual gratification. Realistically, there's nothing wrong with consensual six or "viewing parties" between partners. It comes down to the obscene use of it, and if that use is degrading to a gender. There is nothing wrong with the female body, but why do some games have nothing but pinup strippers as the female NPCs and very overdressed and far-more-interesting-looking male NPCs? Because many designers don't create believable characters (yeah, that strip of clothing covering your briasts and lower torso is going to protect you against this fire-breathing ogre we're fighting in the middle of an ice-age world, shake it babeh!) but instead characters they want to have six with. It's gross.
