i might get flamed for this but it's just something i don't like in my games.

So you're gay then? Does this bother you?

The reason oblivion got rated M was because of the same reason skyrim did.. with the dialogue then. Here take a look *this is oblivion footage so don't worry.* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rf5zvSRjegg

I predict that we will see decline in standard waifu mods, but see more of dragon and general furry mods.
You will have to watch your ass whenever you are outside because a dragon might appear from the sky and make you a new hole.

Oh... why is there so much hate if it comes to Body Mods and/or Clothing?("[censored]y" clothing)

NO ONE says "you must use these nvde mod"! - If you do not like these Mods -> DO NOT USE THEM!... but stop raging around in the Forums...

By the way:

Some Files that belong to these Mods have more than 1 Million Downloads for Oblivion... and much more with around 250.000 Downloads. <- This! is a proof that poeple actually want these mods!

sixy clothed Females are nothing "bad"... its just "nice to look at". And these "nvde Mods" are nothing "bad" too... go and ask your Wife to put off her clothes, and look what you will see :hubbahubba:

PS: I am NOT talking about these "six Mods" like "Eroblivion"... im just talking about Body Replacers and "sixy Outfits"!

It is about the same as oblivion in terms of six stuff. With mods however it could be much more graphic.

That's exactly the point. Female gamers have a hard time being taken seriously because of that horny-factor that so many developers and their audience bring into games. You try walking around in a speedo all year long, fighting dragons, bears, and an army of bandits after climbing throw thick thorns, and see how much you like it. It's all about what people want to have six with, and it's gross.

The mods are avoidable, but when the developers make that into their games, it becomes either a "avoid a game I'd like to play if only they'd take out the gross sixist stuff" or "I will play this game *AFTER* I mod out the perverted material."

And yes, people do avoid games because of that, but when the market becomes saturated with that stuff, it gets harder to avoid games. It doesn't help that people who love that say "get used to it."

T rated games can have implied six. It's only listed in the rating because it's something people might want to know, related to the rating. Also if the books aren't censored this time that might do it (though plain text sixuality tends to slip by sometimes when it comes to ratings).

How does not wanting to see a crazy amount of sixual content make him gay? you obviously have some "personal" issues you need to sort out

"Skyrim players will be able to engage in drinking contests, get married (including same-six marriage!), and maybe even visit prosttutes, among a multitude of other things."

Say what?

I think my character might get lonely at some point...yep.

I agree that was just right.

Especially with the right mods. ;)

In DA2 they took a more subdued approach. Would have preferred something between DA and DA2 though. A little skin isn't a bad thing ;)

i have a problem with that. i don't care about a statue, someones shirt or a dead chick on the street who you robbed. thats the same amount of content in some pg movies or pg 13

but the rating industry clumps all this together, so its always a gamble when i buy a game.

It says something about the world we live in when things like "a dead chick on the street", walking corpses, and decapitation are more socially acceptable than the human body we all posses and its natural processes. :shakehead:

The double standard irks me as well, but whatever I guess. Gratuitous violence? Decapitations? Sure! Some cleavage or a bare butt? A naughty word? OHHHH!!! NOES!!!! *hides eyes*

lol @ playing an ultra violent game (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4GgjHoOYkU ) and having a problem with a few [censored] or whatever.

To each their own, but this is a public forum so I'll ask you publicly, how [censored] does your morality have to be to have no problem gutting person after person but feel uneasy about low cut shirts?

Interesting that the argument of "violence okay but no low cut shirts" keeps getting repeated despite many people stating that is not the case. I guess if you can't understand someone's viewpoint, just repeat yourself and get louder and more sarcastic.

Meh, I find it all pretty stupid myself, but it doesn't bother me that much.....then again, I am male.

That's still possible. I'm hoping the dialog trees you can have with whoever you marry will be a little deeper, and a little less circular than with most othe NPCs. Gonna get awfully boring awfully quick if after 150 game hours of sleeping in the same bed together you only have the same 5 or 6 things to say to eachother...

like in real life? ^^

It has an effect on male gamers, as well. It creates stereotypes.

While I try to keep an open mind, this is the type of thing that makes me occasionally [censored] my head to the side like my dog when I look at the world. Playing a game where you are occasionally required to perform an action visually represented by shoving a foot long dagger into someones throat to end their life as blood spurts out everywhere is no big deal. But showing a little cleavage or implying that a man would have sixual relations with a woman is what offends someone. Sorry if I sound critical, but I just don't get it.

The "censored" word was a synonym of turn and is a perfect example of what I typed above.

I agree. You can have pretty gruesome films like Saw but you can't have a little six in a movie without it becoming x rated. This kind of thing pisses me off to no end.

So you're gay then? Does this bother you?

i am REALLY bad at getting my point across

uhm lets see

it doesn't offend me, i just don't want to see it.

i have this WIERD veiw were the only sixual thing i wanna see is my girlfriend and i never wanna see another woman that way, i look away from [censored]ty things on TV and i don't play sixual video games for that reason

its just my view. i feel if i looked or purposely looked at something like that it would be cheating and wrong

Yeah i get what you mean, I think.
I kinda have the same thought on that point.

If I see a woman being sixual and stuff, I want her to be that way just for me, making it a very special thing for me to experience, It adds a certain kind of value to it, if you know what i mean.
I also really hate to see all those "icons" like Rihanna and Beyonce performing sixual in the media like its the way every one should act.
I think they are not being responsible enough with there position of being an icon.

But in a game like Witcher 2 and RPG's I don't mind it at all, as long as the game designers are showing it in the for me correct way.
I actually liked the Triss parts in Witcher 2.

You should consider the fact that in a RPG the sixual content is aimed at your character, and so in a way it is just for you alone.

Because many designers don't create believable characters [...] but instead characters they want to have six with. It's gross.
It's all about what people want to have six with, and it's gross.
:looks at Bioware link in your sig which has similar prose to your forum replies:

The blonde won by over 10,000 votes compared to her darker sisters but it wasn’t because she fit the bill, it was because the voters wanted to have six with her.

:spotted owl:

How do you get to these queer conclusions? You really think it's because certain males have some deep sixual desire to copulate with their pixelated characters?

ESRB always overexadurates, their "sixual Themes" just means you can go down to your underwear when you take all your armor off, like any other RPG.
