Is lycantropy inherently incompatible with Porphyric Hemophi

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 11:10 am

The question is pretty much entirely in the title...

Now that we know the player can be a Vampire and a Werewolf, it's fun to ponder whereas these states are incompatible with one another or not.

Thoughts?

I hope its incompatible. I know people can do what they want in their own games, but I don't really like the idea of vampire werewolves running around.

Heh. Sun damage in the day time and feral at night. Not a single chance at normal day to day life.

I know Morrowind allowed you to get both, but it was kinda buggy and probably not intended. You would have a werewolf body with a vampire head. :P

I hope not. Otherwise it's pointless to become a vampire as a "vaccine" to lycanthropy when you hunt werewolves!!! Seriously now I can be a Breton werewolf hunter :) and the odds are against not getting the virus eventually.

I have seen all 700+ episodes of the Dragonball Z franchise and there is not one single vampire or werewolf.

The closest thing to a Were anything,is the Great Ape transformation.

Normally I'd hop on the bandwagon and call you a troll, but obviously your not, your just, well, wrong.

has to be in creepy Slaivic accent--"Part Lycan part Vampire, Stronger than BOTH!!

Actually I would assume they are incompatable. It would be just too much a pain in the neck to do otherwise.

no.. that wasn't what i meant. I meant over the top with power. You misunderstood why I said it. We don't need any power levels over 9000 here. It would be imbalanced to allow the player to become everything that is super powerful. Dragonborn vampire werewolf with histskin, etc. etc. etc.

I'm actually gonna try that now, congrats, you have just made me play Morrowind again, haven't played in 2 years :)

I don't really want it in Skyrim anyway, as you said, Bethesda probably didn't intend it to be there in the first place.

It will probably be the same as morrowind. once you fully contract one you become to immune to all disease so you cant get the other but if you mange to get both before you full contract one then you can be both.

Since you can't go outside during the day and you become a werewolf at night there's no way you can really drink blood
Unless you get the option as a werewolf of course, but that'd be rather unrealistic.

Well if they worked some kinks out and made it something crazy (i don't know what though) i think it would be a good hybrid, but i doubt it. Mainly be cause it could cause alot of havoc half vamp and half were, and was once a (whatever race you were) and 100% Dragonborn!
