That and renegade is much more fun than paragon. Loads more explosions and punching and killing of innocents.

Yes, the renegade interrupts are more fun, but some of the renegade and paragon dialogue choices in ME2 were absurd and you practically had to pick the renegade choice every single time, even if it didn't make sense, if you wanted to unlock the best interrupts.

Hated that about ME2. In ME3, it's like you are finally free to choose dialogue choices that match your character, as the interrupts are unlocked based on the total reputation points.

Haven't tried it myself but no doubt you can change the assets. And even if Gibbed's can't do it there will be a 3rd party program to do so.

Thanks hon. Will have a look when I get home. If you could change the war assets (which, I agree you MUST be able to do given all the other options) I'll be a very happy bunny. :D

How much of the war assets can you get from importing an old savegame?

I made a new character without importing and it was not hard to get above 5k, although I noticed your "readiness" drops every day if you stop playing multiplayer.

Has anyone used Gibbed save editor for ME3? I'm at work at the moment so can't faff about with it but someone on the Bioware sticky for it said you can change your war assets using it? Anyone got experience of this?

Yeah, I gave it a try and it seems to work fine: my updated assets were indicated on the Normandy's console, but I ran out of patience when it came to testing out the outcomes: I just couldn't face sitting through that sequence again.

Hmm I'm honestly not sure. I bet the wikia has an answer..there's a whole huge section on imports and their effects? Or if you can wade through the rubbish on the Bioware forums you can bet your ass someone's created a comprehensive list...

I'm going to give it a go. Am tempted to create a MShep/Kaidan playthrough or a pure ren but would really rather not play the first TWO games again to do so. xD I'm just finishing my MShep/Liara ME2 playthrough to continue to ME3.

Oh YES YES YES.

I managed to kill Wrex using Gibbed's and now Wreav is ruling Tuchanka as if he had always been on that throne instead of - what - two hours.

Yes, Wreav was a huge [censored]. I think he might be the most annoying character in the entire series.

I don't remember it working like that. My paragon still beat that crime boss in Thane's mission to a bloody pulp despite being a pure paragon.

In ME2 there were a few renegade options that were unlocked with low renegade points, but there are quite a few that only unlocked when you have higher points, and a couple where you need nearly 100% of either the renegade or paragon points available but if you pick some renegade and some paragon along the way, you are screwed.

For example in the scene with Morinth and Samara, I had chosen renegade nearly 100% of the time and still was not able to unlock the option to kill Samara and have Morinth join the squad.

In ME3, it is calculated based on your total reputation points, adding up total renegade plus total paragon, plus any neutral rep points you have accumulated. I got to the highest reputation level rather easily and was able to unlock all the interrupts, despite choosing dialogue options that reflected the character I was playing instead of "always nice guy" or "always rude."

I don't think that's correct as my paragon shep in ME2 had a choice to kill Samara (I have no idea why). My renegade shep also had the option, and I doubt she was 100% renegade (though I can no longer remember for sure) as I pick a few paragon dialogue options with my crew.

There seem to be far fewer renegade / paragon interrupts in ME3 and fewer renegade / paragon dialogue choices as well (meaning the red / blue choices on the left side of the wheel).

Did you fully level up your class power before that scene? It's pretty much impossible to get the best paragon/renegade choices without investing fully into it.

@sentientsurfer, you get to kill samara as long as you used the red/blue dialogues with Morinth prior to Samara busting in.

Yep, for some of those extreme interrupts in ME2, you can have full renegade or full paragon, but you get penalized if you have a mix of both. Which renders some of the dialogue choices pointless and hinders the roleplaying aspect.

IMO this is one of the greatest improvements of ME3 over the previous game.

"I am Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store in the Citadel."
"A-hah! No other gun shop has that kind of an advertisemant!"

How wrong can one be.

Agreed again. Now that I'm playing ME2 again I had forgotten how abysmal the morality system is. What was so wrong about ME1? Why couldn't they keep the morality stats? They were perfect. I have to be a total ass to everyone to - for example - save Tali from being exiled. You either save every damn kitten from every damn tree or you shoot every civilian burn every building to unlock some witty one-liners? Ridiculous.

You could just use gibbed's save game editor to max out your paragon and renegade points

I did that last time, indeed, but I prefer to get the points in an honest way. Most of the time I complete majority of the game, then upgrade class power to 4 and hopefully hit the Renegade bar to max.

I don't think so..? I think someones just taken the most depressing lines from the whole series and slowed them to make them sound like whispers...or maybe they are from the nightmares. I'm honestly not sure now lol...

Do certain multiplayer maps spawn more often? I rarely ever get Reactor, or Glacier. Also, why are they all called Firebase?

Most of the paragon conversation options with Cortez sound like you're coming onto him.
