I was just wondering, when you become a werewolf, do you have to be in 3rd person or can you be in 1st?

Third.
Well, that's disappointing. Would have loved to play a werewolf in 1st person, but they look cool enough, so I can most likely live with 3rd person only.

I like the fact we can become them now but I don't like the forced camera, is there a link anyone has to a confirmation of only third person for werewolves

Indeed, I was a bit surprised at how much taller they got, especially when compared to MO's.

I second AcidDark's notion, I'd like a little more confirmation on the only third person thing...

If you ask me, they should've not implemented them in vanilla and left them out for a DLC.
They are crappy werewolves if you ask me.
Actually, they are NOT werewolves when you think about it - you just shapeshift in a wolf-like creature.
So yeah, I'm still sad that there are NO werebeasts in Skyrim and hope for a proper DLC with both proper werewolves and werebears.

One really does see pretty much every type of response to whatver bethesda does or doesn't do.

The Companions have been confirmed since E3. As seen in some leaked footage lycanthropy is a pretty huge and rather important part of the Companions questline.

With all that being said, im assuming werewolves have been in from the start, i cant see them changing an entire questline a week before the release.

So stop with the "they didnt have time to put in 1st person" nonsense. Its either in, or bethesda didnt want to put it in. From the knowledge ive collected i would say there is 1st person, i dont see why not.

This^^. They are right in some ways though, they technically aren't werewolves unless they have a forced trasformation time etc At the minute it seems they are just shape shifters, but thats because there is limited knowledge at this time as its a leaked topic

Wait, what? Humanoid werewolves have been a cultural staple for a long time. Transforming into an actual wolf is much less interesting. If you want to get technical, the original werewolf myths were of people donning a belt, given to them by Satan, which transformed them into a wolf.

I call BS on the third person only report. Since when does Beth not concentrate on first person perspective for Elder Scrolls. There is no reason for a third person only view and Bethedsa would probably scrap werewolves if the couldn't do them right. If they se in the game, then there is a first person view.

Everyone who has the game -- who prooved it-- said there is currently no first person werewolf gameplay. It may change when the real version comes out with the patches.

well considering horses are in forced 3rd person, that statement goes right out the window.

Proved it? Did they bring skyrim to your house with skyrim playing and tapping the view button?

I think that's being overly optimistic. The game was feature-locked before the first copies were sent out to reviewers. I'd actually be surprised if the copy of the game currently being pirated isn't identical in every way to the game that'll be released on 11-11-11.

As for post-release patches... I expect those will mostly be bug fixes.

Eh, one of things which keep my hopes up about Skyrim is fact that lot of bad info we have on it is not true.
Other thing is that most of the issues I personally have with Skyrim can be fixed trough patches/DLCs.
I just hope that Bethesda puts some effort into polishing Skyrim after it's release and don't jump on making FO4 instantly.
Honestly, Skyrim looks simply awesome, but there are some really really irritating things about it which feel like a kick in a balls.

Again, before you get flammed by immature people, we have went over this earlier that this tweet is extremely vauge and pete could've not taken werewolfs into consideration when he was asked. Because werewolf's were not OFFICIALLY announced.

Although Bethesda should not be as tight-lipped about werewolf's anymore.
Just about everybody knows by now, who's on these forums regularly atleast.
