Most of the emoticons are pretty bad

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 11:17 pm

I don't mind the emoticons too much myself. :sorcerer:
The one you used right there used to wave the wand and summon a dragon that ate someone.

I actually like it better without the dragon. And don't worry, Bethesda is probably hard at work to fix the emoticons. :miner:

Dancing bunny is my favorite celebration emoticon. :bunny:

I could do these hidden emotes before they were just clickable from the list . In fact, I don't even use the list. I write the syntax down myself B)

My personal peeves are having to use "laugh" so that I don't get the [censored]-looking animated "lol"; and that we're back to the insipid-looking ":D" rather than the improved version that the boards used to have...

Edit: they've even censored that too?! Unbelievable...

I love emoticons (I tend to "collect" them) but I rarely actually use more than the basic ones like    and  so I'm fine w/what's available. Sometimes I actually wish the list was a little bit smaller so I didn't have to page through so many looking for the one I want, if I don't have the code memorized. I do, however, love this one:

Much better, imo, than the text letters ROFL.

I personally associate  with RationalWiki's articles on Ray Comfort, for some reason, even if I've been familiar with it for years upon years.

Other than that I am content with the emoticons. My favorite emoticon here is

I don't tend to use emoticons in my posts but I don't have a problem with them. Apart from the dancing rabbit, that one irritates me.

Wish we had some Onion Head, Pyong, Tuzki, and Yoyo & Cici emotes.

No reason to have such a small selection as we have.

I go on another forum that has a load of rage face emotes, usually I hate seeing them spammed in comics but they work pretty well as emotes.

I dunno, it drives me insane :ahhh:

I used to use blink so much, now I can't :cold:

 also doesn't work :cold: :cold: :cold:

It makes me sad.

But  wins for staring contests now I guess. Although you can not possibly have a forum staring contest.
