I see you've already left messages on their pages, so I'll see if they respond. I'm certainly not opposed to a collaborative effort to make a unified follower mod or something, though.

Also, it seems that mod is using a similar approach and has thus run into the same limitations with hardcoded aliases - see http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1344764-wip-subjugation/.

Got a couple of reports of incompatibilities with that, so I'll put it up in the OP.

That's a pretty good idea, actually. The LVLI approach has the same problems as the Outfit approach, namely that there's no way (that I can see, at least) to get a list of equipped clothing, nor an easily enumerable list of inventory items. Until Wrye Smash is able to merge actor records, though, it's probably best not implemented in this mod.

His mod changes the same scripts as yours, so instead I shall ask if you could include a relax option in future updates please. Mostly because I like the flavor of letting your followers lounge around your house while they wait to group up to mass slaughter Skyrim.

Such a shame. Is it confirmed that it conflicts with this mod?

Hey guys

tried the mod yesterday. Everything worked fine. Each time i recruit a follower, the message appeared: Follower set alias blabla 1/2/3 something like that. I subscribed to a couple of mods today, launched the game but this time everything is messed up. Followers refuse to move and such. Ive read a bit a found out that one mod, follower hunting bow fix, was incompatible with this, so i unchecked it. When I try again (i loaded a save in which i didnt have anyone following me), i recruit my first follower, and he agrees to follow me. Yet the message follower alias something 1 does not appear anymore. So i recruit a second follower, and he agrees to follow me. the thing is, he doesnt, he just stands there doing nothing Same thing for any other followr i try to recruit, they accept but don t move, so i always end up with the first follower i asked following me.. Ive uninstalled all my mods, checked in data files if the Multiplefollowers.esp was activated, everything seems to be right. Even Reinstalled it. still nothing, something seems to be broken. any help with that? sorry for bad english.

Small glitch report for v0.4a

During the quest Diplomatic Immunity as I go outside the embassy to go towards the Interrogation Chambers, my followers have spawned in the area where you exit the cart and first enter the embassy.
Nothing gamebreaking as all they did was kill the two thalmor there and they reappeared properly when fighting the ice troll.

Thanks for making one of my favourite mods! Works exactly as you describe, and so far the only issue I have seen is with another awesome Followers mod found on Nexus (sorry, since I am new on Bethesda forums I cannot post links, but search for "Better Followers" on skyrimnexus).

As per the author of that mod, the conflict exists because both your mod and the above linked "Better Followers" mod influence follower inventory. What could be decent way around this so that I can have this mod working with the Better Followers mod?

Also, for anyone considering the Better Followers mod, there is another conflict where during installation through NMM, Better Followers gives you an option to install "Better Follower Dialogues". That is another potential conflict which can be avoided if the option is left uninstalled in Better Followers.

My second question is, will you consider releasing this mod on Nexus?

Perhaps you should try again with a clean save that has no history of the Multiple Followers mod? I am assuming that you are just using the Skyrim Launcher to play the game so restarting the launcher sometimes resets many issues. Try that.

Hey, just wondering if theres a way to fix a dialogue bug I have with Jenassa. I can't start any dialogue with her at all, I'm certain its because I didn't dismiss her before installing this mod since I can recruit her on all other characters ;(

Any help would be appreciated.

As Selcouthist said, please try again with a completely clean save, verify that all files from the mod have been properly installed and that all other mods have been temporarily disabled.

That's a bug present in the original game, unfortunately.

Thanks for the support. This mod doesn't touch NPC inventories. v0.4b affects follower items, but that's only through the follower quest aliases. Took a quick look at Better Followers - SP.esp and it doesn't seem to modify the latter, so they should be compatible (save for the DialogueFollower dialogues).
In future, if this does implement the outfit workaround suggested by minngarm, Wrye Smash will hopefully have some way to merge actor records.

Uninstall this mod completely, load a clean save, dismiss Jenassa, save, reinstall. Also confirm it's not a result of a mod conflict.

As I said before, this mod is exactly what I wanted to be in Skyrim from the beginning.
When I successfully moved houses (IRL), I will see if I can create a dungeon/raid instance that requires you to have multiple followers, being too hard to do on your own.
I already made a 15000 hp boss that pretty much requires followers to defeat.

As for the arrows thing. I really like having to supply my followers myself, adding some realism.

Honestly, I find arrows easy to come by. Since I have Tytanis, I just break down the crap ones, re-create into better ones, and give my followers the best ones I can. I suppose vanilla might be a bit more difficult for them to get high end arrows, but I know I had thousands of crap arrows before I hit level 40 even. (Which is rather silly to carry that many, but till a "Project Nevada"-ish mod comes out to re-balance and modify gameplay to the extent that it did for FO:NV, I shall stick with my silly amount of arrows.)

I too enjoy equipping my followers with all their gear, including the arrows. (>.> of course that means pimped out armor, weapons, potions, re-charging their weapons occasionally, etc.... >.< I've spent more time and gold on their armor than I have on my own. :banghead: )

This is impressive, ty for your work here.
I was attempting to make something similar, a mod which allows one 'friend', a housecarl and a hireling but hit a brick wall when i realized how intricately woven the follower system is. (and outside of some basic scripting for magic effects on oblivion, i dont have much scripting experience xD)

Love the mod works great, the bat files recommended earlier also work great as well with this. was trying to figure out if there was a way to check mod compatability with another one i was originally using called forbidden romance 3.0 link here :

Foobar92, I just wanted to let you know that I've been running with 3 companions now for several days (Sven, Jenassa, and Aranea Ienith). The game runs great and battles are epic. Haven't encountered any issues that are noteworthy thusfar. Thank you very, very much for this incredibly entertaining mod. :celebration: :rock: :foodndrink:

Thank you for your replies. I am running Better Followers (without the Better Dialogue option) with your mod v0.4b and it all is working fine together! Your mod is definitely very entertaining when Deadly Dragons and Wars in Skyrim are all loaded together.

Here is another mod that I want your opinion on a particular mod which you can find on nexus by searching "HorseRidingFollowers"

This guy has done some amazing work and made some headway into realizing the interactions of Follower factions with different dependencies.

You answered the followers-riding-horses question in this forum, but I just wanted you to take a look at this.

I'd like to try this mod but... I used another mod called 'second_follower' that gave me a second follower by using the dog slot ('forcerefintoalias animal'). I've spent almost an hour searching the forums in an effort to find out how to reverse the process but no luck. I'd rather not kill Lydia off if I can help it... can anyone help me please?
