[WIPREL] Multiple Followers

Hello! Really amazing work you did here, I had nine companions for a while but then that got annoying so I settled with two. Best mod I've downloaded so far, and same thing with the guy above. I created an account just to tell you how great this is. Would be awesome if you added an option to tell all of your followers to wait and follow at the same time. That way, you can play effectively with nine companions(You won't have to tell all your followers to wait individually when you enter a small space xD).

This might be something you want to know, this mod doesn't work with one of or a combination of the Fixed Followers Lite mod and Followers Keep Up mod on Steam workshop. Only one of the followers will follow you, the others are still in your employment and have basic dialogue actions but they are unable to do anything except stand there. You can't trade, command, or release them because if you do, you'll just get a 'Could not find this follower in actorrefs.' message.

Also, how do you make all your followers essential?
I tried using it with Followers Keep up along with Followers dont Die! and even after uninstalling, unsubscribing, and deleting the steam workshop ones, they still stand there. Any Ideas? I tried deleting this mod from my Data and reinstalling it, but that didnt work. Idk what to do from here and would appreciate any help i can get. Thx!

Just a thought: the mod pack (multFollowers.0.4) contains "scripts" and "source" folder, with a lot of files inside both. Maybe some other mods overwrite some of the files within those folders.

Not sure I understand this completely, but if this was the case, how would i fix it? I have played with the 3 enabled for a while cuz i didnt have a 2nd follower to choose yet, so if i need to go to before the 3 were present, I would lose my progress from like 3 days or something and could not even check to see if it worked cuz I would not have another follower ready. quite the pickle...

Am I totally confused on mods? I installed a multi follower mod and I am like 99.9999% sure it was this one a few weeks back and it said it did 50 followers. Did things change on this mod to 10? Seems to me everything else is the same including version number, mine being 0.4b... Maybe I am just getting old and got confused....

It would be absolutely great if he (Foobar) could make this compatible with the multiple marriages mod, I can wait almost forever cause with these 2, I will not stop playing Skyrim :biggrin:

I use this multi marriage mod and it works with the multi follower mod. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9378#content I had multi followers installed 1st and 1 file needed to be over written when installing the multi marriage mod. I swear when I dloaded this mod a few weeks back it said it supported 50 followers.

Pelinal,

Does the same issue happen with your backup save once this mod has been installed properly? Also, are you using any other mods that affect followers in any way?

The fact that it first assigned a follower to slot 0, then slot 4 from a clean save suggests that save hasn't been properly cleaned. Dismiss all followers, check that "show playerfollowercount" returns 0 and that the dialogue of your ex-followers is back to the unrecruited stage, save, then remove the mod entirely, load the save, check those two conditions again, save and reinstall. Ensure all 72 (using v0.2b) or 83 (v0.3a) .pex files are in Data/scripts and haven't been overwritten, and that MultipleFollowers.esp loads after any other follower mods.

EDIT: Forgot to ask: which NPCs are you trying to recruit?
After doing this I got it to work! Quick question, can essential followers still be killed by me, the player? I honestly do not know what to give to who anymore(in a good way) cuz I have so many followers to choose roles for. How much can a follower carry by default? I am used to forceav-ing them to 9999, but it seems a bit much with this mod. Thanks!

I would love to see a better equiping decision for the followers based primarily on skills than the quality of weapon. All my followers equip Dwarven Helmets over almost anything (including heavy dragon priest masks), which has nothing to do with your mod, but I would appreciate it being fixed. Thanks!

Just wondering if any of these mods officially work with some of the followers who can be married and have dialogue to follow, but wont actually follow... like Orla in particular, but also many others as shown in the uesp wiki skyrim marriage list. Any confirmation would be nice, I downloaded a bunch to try, but any heads up would be appreciated.

I'm assuming you had to add more reference aliases to the DialogueFollower quest? I ask because I'm going to be referencing the original alias for the human companion in my mod, and wanted to make sure it wasn't replaced or deleted by this mod. I'd like to remain compatible if possible.

Nothing official or anything but I have been using multiple followers along with specialized followers for over 50 hours with out any major problems. I have multiple followers under specialized followers in my load order as recommended by boss.

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble in regards to getting on my horse.
I have installed 0.4b and I can have multiple followers and that fine, but when ever I get on my horse, all my followers start walking home. If I get off my horse and run up to them then they start following me again. I thought it might be my "Followers have horses" mod, but I tried disabling it running the game again and the problem was still there.

I followed the instruction on the install, and believe everything is installed correctly. The Followers that are doing it, Lydia, Faendal, Benor and Vigilance (dog).

Before installing the mod, I didn't have this issue, and my follower would ride a horse, so it must be something doesn't like some sort of script. Any tips?

Found a conflict with Specialized followers. Whenever I fast travel, when i get to my destination all my followers come with but immediately all "tire of witing" and leave. Would Greatly Appreciate a workaround and Multiple Followers is currently loading right under Specialized Followers.

Is a pity, but Better Follower Improvements.esp mod is incompatible with Horses for Followers mod.

When I mount my horse, all my followers are going home. When dismounted, a few seconds they come back to join me. If I disable Better Follower Improvements.esp, none of my followers mounted his horse. They are running behind me, of course, due to the deactivation of Better Follower Improvements.esp.

It would be incredible that the two mods could work together. To have several followers on horseback, galloping for Skyrim.

Is it possible to create a compatibility patch?

Long story short:

I've gotten Lydia STUCK waiting in my house, not following me, but stuck in the follower dialogue. If I click 'lets part ways' nothing happens. Her dialogue does not change and she stays waiting in my house.

I'm sifting through the source and the console desperately trying to find something to set/reset. My last save w/o Lydia is many hours ago.

I don't know why I have this glitch (I swear I've tried everything) but I can only have 1 follower actually following me. If I try anyone else, they sneak when I do and draw weapons as well, but they don't actually follow me around.

two important things for the future...
1. learn to read
2. try using your brain (it doesn't hurt)

before activating this plugin, dismiss your companion and save.
activate plugin, load your save, hire your companion again and all works fine.

if this doesn't help (but i'm sure it will), you have a mod/load order problem.

Ok so I need to disable all follower plug-ins, which I think for me is just TGS and Multiple Followers, then I should be able to get Lydia back to non following dialogue and redo. (and delete all scripts associated)

I don't know if this is working for me. I was trying last night. Uninstalled TGS and Multiple followers completely, and Lydia was still so very stuck.

Essentially I believe I didn't read the directions! and now I'm screwed up as per this disclaimer.


[Installation]
Again, make backup saves. Make sure you dismiss any followers (except dogs) before installation, otherwise things will mess up.

How do you recover from that. I'm at 0 followers and she won't revert to non following dialogue. I'll try disable uninstall even more mods and try get her to get our of the following dialogue.
Please help me recover. I'm sure it will aide other felllow internet idiots.

I have no problem yet using the two mods together. I have four followers on horses.
