Seriously is there anyone in this forum that agree with my points? Feels like its me against the world. Help.

You never really made a point you just said "Add dwemer because it will spice things up." and yes it would spice things up, in the sense of garnering hate from the community lol
but if it makes you feel better there are a lot of people that want Dwemer, there's just a lot more that don't want them ever and if zenimax did put dwemer in you can guarantee there will be a super uprising of nerds everywhere
What you are not understanding is that the majority of people waiting to play ESO (TESO for you sticklers ) are anticipating/hoping that this mmo remains true to the TES RPG world - as closely as possible. This will be the "make it or break it" deal for a lot of those interested in this game I assume.
SWToR.
New is not always better.
New and bigger is not always a cash cow.
You want to bring back the dwemer to "spice up the game". The other guy wants T-Rex and dinosaurs and hundreds of dragons because they would be cool.
Most of the people posting on this forum want an Elder Scrolls game setting. There are other games out for new, speculation, adding cool stuff for the sake of cool stuff.
Dwemer are elves, not "dwarves". I don't understand the confusion, it says it right there in the name: dwe-mer (deep-elf). They are called dwarves by men because they live underground. It's fascinating how persistent some people are sometimes with their blatantly uninformed opinions on certain things. You have nothing to back yourself up with Hidde, let's face it, The Elder Scrolls will never reintroduce dwarves, because there have never been any.
Dwemer does not equal Dwarves. Dwemer means "Deep Elves," "Deep Folk," or possibly "Smart Elves." It is believed that the term dwarf to describe them originates from giants giving them the name, who would just as likely apply it to other races of similar heights.
Dwemer have been seen in the series. In Morrowind. So have the stereotypical dwarves you are pinning for. So neither of them can be considered "new." Based on your argument, introducing either of these would not be better than anything else, as they are "old," and therefore worse.
So, by your own logic, it would be worse for ES:O to bring back the Dwemer.
Hmm, here's my problem with this: if they decided to bring the Dwemer back into life in an expansion, they then need to make up another event that caused them to disappear in order to keep TESO lore in line with the previous single player titles. Depending on what these now alive Dwemer do and how far they were to spread themselves it could also break the lore in this game, the vast majority of the history of the Dwemer is lost to the ages, not to mention they were a fiercely independent race and weren't too keen on the company of other races.
Overall, I just don't really like the idea, there's nothing wrong with having races being completely extinct leaving nothing by relics of a lost age; it adds a nice depth of mystery to these areas both literally and in the lore. This kind of shows how much weight a name like "dwarf" carries, it's always "bring back the dwarves!", you never hear "bring back the left-hand elves!".
Final point: in terms of how ZOS approach the additional content, I hope they just leave the tap on and let new content trickle out of the tap as and when it's ready rather than have this massive "Patch 8.1.9: RETURN OF THE WURZLES!".
This thread is hilarious.
Trust me, if they're not gonna put in stereotypical Elves, which have proven to always be far more popular than Dwarves, than they're not gonna put in stereotypical Dwarves.
I'm really liking the idea that someone put forth in the TES Lore forum that this isn't actual history, but a popular but woefully inaccurate historical fiction set in the Second Era that was published in the Fourth Era.
This is how I feel atm

PS. cba answering all your shieeet body can't handle that much. Found somewhere in this thread on my posts of about my interpretations, opinions, maybe just maybe facts regarding dwemers or dwarfs is where most of my perceived information regarding this topic are, and hopefully you can find a answer somewhere there to your critique, or questions.
Mer used the term "Dwemer", whose meaning was roughly translated to "people of the deep".The term also connoted to "deep-delving," "profound," and "close-counseled". However, they were commonly referred as "Dwarves" by Men, and the name is rumored to have been derived from a supposed encounter with giants in the Velothi Mountains (although in general, this is a nod to the Dwarves of German and Scandinavian folklore), presumably during the late Merethic Era.

Even if they somehow found a reason to justify the Dwemer returning, they would have to find another reason to justify their disappearance because Yagrum Bagarn is the only Dwemer alive in Morrowind and this takes place before then.
As in like someone reading a tale, a la the framing device for Vernaccus and Bourlor? You know what? That does sound quite appealing, if TESO was actually set a few more thousand years back when the established history was much nil, I think I would be utterly on board.
1E 700 — The Dwemer disappear.
2E 582 — The Alliance War begins.
Considering that the Dwemer have been missing for 2802 years at the time of ESO, I'm not sure "bend" is the right word here.
All I can think of is the dragon argument. Sure, lots of people think dragons are cool*. But bringing them back in ESO would contradict the main storyline of Skyrim in a way that ruins the experience for a significant number of players. In the same way, implementing playable Dwemer would contradict the main storyline of Morrowind. An anthology of stories set in the same universe have to maintain a certain level of consistency with one another, otherwise they aren't really in the same universe.
This is the Elder Scrolls, not Middle Earth, Azeroth, or any other fictional universe. If ESO included playable Dwemer, dragon mounts, Tolkienesque Dwarves (or Elves, or Orcs), motorcycles, guns, or Texas Hold'em, then it wouldn't be an Elder Scrolls story.
At least, not in the opinion of a significant number of players.
(*Personally, I thought they were almost as irritating as cliff racers.)
I cannot take this thread seriously, anyone who thinks this is a good idea has no idea how many fans of TES cares about lore. This would RUIN the game, completely.
First off crafting has a lot of draw from some guilds and roleplayers. In UO, Vanguard, EQ1+2 and AoC there were guilds dedicated to craft and trade. Its just that they don't come to forums demanding lore breaking things such as reinventing the Dwemer.
As for the race of the Dwemer or Deep Elves when translated, no they are dead and long gone. There is only one left and he makes an appearance in Morrowind. The Dunmer killed all the Dwemer off and those that didn't vanish were finished off by the Falmer long before the events in TESO.
To bring in the Dwemer ZOS and Bethesda would have to re-write the whole lore of TES single player games and their new MMO from scratch, and if they did it wouldn't be The Elder Scrolls anymore.
I'm not going to get into all the reasons why this is against the lore and would alienate a huge section of the fanbase by basically trashing everything we've ever been told (yet.)
Instead, I'd just like to point out that the sentence I have quoted here is the number one reason not to do what you're asking for.
We have enough generic popcorn fantasy. Lets keep TES special.
Most of the time people who do this intentionally overdo it and out themselves. On occasion, they end up frustrated and actually admit to what they were trying to do. In either case they find out it is bad for the longevity of their accounts.
For the posters, some of whom might be of the younger, excitable demographic, people answer questions. The answers might not be what the poster wanted, but this is a discussion forum, and people are going to agree and disagree with opinions. As long as its done within the forum rules, they can post.
Typical n00bs who think Skyrim the only thing related with ES.
This thread is a joke, right?
Dwemer have been dead for a LONG time, even by the time of ESO. There's a difference between just bending the lore, and taking it, ripping it up, stomping on it, and burning it to pieces...
i am so amused by this thread!
great post OP! You really got the community stirred.
In my opinion Dwemer race could be available for ppl whos reach some archivements like: reach 50++ level or get all classes to 50 level or something really hard.
But then you have several Dwarves when there shouldn't be any.
I don't want a race as an achievement nor do I want an extinct race. If you want dwemer there are mods on Skyrim for them, just keep them out of ESO.
Just for you, OP: http://www.imperial-library.info/content/definitive-guide-dwemer
