Wow now that's how you end a game and a good prediction on my part. There were some terrible calls by the Zebras though including that incomplete backward lateral that should've been a fumble or the blown facemask call but I digress, the story of Tebow continues for another week or hopefully longer. If Denver's defense plays better then they did the 1st time they played New England, put pressure on Brady and Fox allows Tim to throw more often like they did today, then Denver could do something that will make everybodys jaw drop, beat the Patriots up at Foxboro. My Ravens better pray that Brady beats Tebow because I don't like my Ravens chances if Denver does the unthinkable and Baltimore beats Houston, who they should beat due to rookie QB going against Lewis Suggs, Reed and Company.

I cried. lol

But yeah, after a 4-12 season last year, I'd say my boys are doing alright for themselves this year!

Oh and I'm not a Bronco bandwagon fan, but you just can't help loving Tebow.

The guy has a passion for the game rarely seen, anywhere. Still, my favorite player this year is Von Miller. Should get DROY.

Alright. So, with Wilcard weekend over, what is everyone's Divisional playoff predictions?

I think the Texans/Ravens game is gonna be a good one!

Hmm, changed my mind.

I am still avoiding all media today. I turn the TV to The Today Show and I see Tebow. I look at my newspaper and I see Tebow.

I hate hype the media makes.

I think Tebow is cool though, don't get me wrong. Just hate that people droll all over him thinking he is the next Elway while there were a lot better players this past NFL season.

Who thinks he's the next Elway though? Tebow can scramble like Elway, in fact, better, but Elway and Tebow are pretty much in different leagues as far as passing is concerned.

Most of Colorado.

Just for the record, thats them, not me.

But I do agree with you though.

I joined the Tebow bandwagon because of his character and the kind of person he is. Here are the sides. One person can have multiple reasons though.
Pro Tebow:
1. Like him because they always followed his career and want to see him get better
2. Like him because he's role model worthy and a great person
3. Like him because it pisses of the right people
4. Like him because they are Broncos fans

Con Tebow:
1. Disappointed with his passing game
2. Hate him because of his character and/or public displays of religion
3. Hate the Broncos

I had flashbacks to when Favre threw a deep bomb to Greg Jennings on the first play of overtime at Denver. Apparently Tebow's throw and catch were faster than Favre's throw and catch, making it the fastest overtime in history.

I have thought he is the next John Elway. But I also feel thinking that puts a jinx on Denver, since it took John many years to finally get his ring.

Oak fired Hue. Ha that's what they get for gambling by giving away two very good picks (1st rounder this year, first or second rounder next), for a quitter.

Saints are a possible Super Bowl pick but I can't see them getting past the Niners defense. It's not going to be a dome game where Brees can go into Madden mode and lite up the scoreboard, they will be playing outside at Candlestick and the defense that the Niners have is really good and rested too, not to mention an incredible coach who should get Coach of the year. I've got Niners vs Broncos in SB with Denver getting the slight edge although Tim and company needs to get past the Patriots 1st which isn't going to be easy but the Pat's defense is terrible. If Denvers defense comes to play it's a coin flip and that poor defense that NE has could be a huge problem for them.

I would love for my Ravens to win the title game but Suggs put bad karma on the team with his comments a week or two ago about Tim and is Joe Flacco clutch. He can't throw it 50 times and expect to win, that's less rushes for Rice and would put them in bad shape against Denver, the Ravens don't have a great secondary outside of Reed.

Alright, I went 2 for 4 last week so I'm gonna try to do a little better this weekend.

Patriots over the Broncos
Packers over Giants
Ravens over Texans
Saints over 49ers

I have to miss the Patriots game, last time I missed a Patriot's playoff game was the 2007 AFC Championship game, I'm sensing something here.

My predictions for this week.

Broncos over Patriots- Patriots defense could be a huge problem, it's not that good. Denver has an advantage this time around, Tim will be pulling the trigger and hopefully the defense comes to play. They didn't do so the 1st time the teams played. That also means Denver can't turn the ball over 3 times like they did in the 1st matchup. I don't see Bill making the same mistakes that Lebeau made they will cover the WR's deep but then again players can miss coverage or get beat so Tim could easily hit it deep if they aren't careful.

Giants over Packers- I don't trust the Packers defense and if the Giants play as well as they did against the Falcons, look out.

Niners over Saints- Niners Defense should shut down Brees, won't be as effective because he'll be playing outside and Saints are a completely different team on the road and their defense isn't as good as the Super Bowl run. Current defense isn't forcing as many turnovers as the 09 defense which lead the league in Takeaways.

Ravens over Houston- Ravens should slaughter the Texans, Yates going against Lewis and company, GG sir. Flacco will be the X factor, if he doesn't throw it 40 times or choke and Rice gets 150 yards on the ground, then Ravens should easily win. If the Ravens lose this game then they need to trade Flacco away, trade up in the draft and get Robert Griffin III, the man is a stud prospect with a live arm and incredible speed that he won't use as a 1st option but as a 2nd option.

I was discussing this with people at work and this is basically what I said. I have the Ravens and 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Wow this is ugly so far. The Saints have a lot of firepower so you can't count them out yet, but Brees can't move the ball and the defense has been average, which is to say 'not good'.

I wanted Brees to overcome the stigma that he can't play outside of a dome, but this isn't helping.

Woooohoooo 49ers!

Amazing game!

I figured the Niners were toast when Brees marched the Saints down so quickly...

Alex Smith has certainly grown up significantly, clutch, clutch win.
