Agreed. And it truly doesn't take ANY work to add rows to a database. Something like this can be done in a simple patch. The most difficult part would be creating the new lines. For that, Bethesda just needs to run out to a LARPers convention (or whatever they have), or even Comic-Con, sit them down and give them scenarios... "If someone were to walk past you under these circumstances, what would your reaction be?"
10 people could probably knock out about 500 new sayings in a couple hours... get 'em jacked on redbull and put them in front of Skyrim, you'll end up with thousands of new lines by the end of the week. Then it's a matter of editing (a couple people for a month) and actually adding them to the database and packaging the patch, Configuration Management, Testing, QA, etc (probably 4 people for a couple months)... Total of roughly 11 man-months worth of work which can be done in about 3.5 calendar months... We could have thousands of new sayings by early Summer.... Get on it Bethesda!
