One Burger to Rule Them All!

yep, the live ones are so much tastier...

I like it when a resturant just brings the cow around to the table and lets me carve off my own piece. :liplick:

The best burger I remember having? Probably http://www.nepenthebigsur.com/ along PCH in Big Sur, CA. The best I had recently was at http://www.kumascorner.com/. I got the Megadeth burger. It was metalicious.

Best burger ever? My wife made it! We bought a special Bacon Cheddar cheese, fresh ground hamburger, and actual bacon as well. Delicious. As far as best non-homemade burger, I have no idea of what the place was called, but it was some retro joint in Virginia(was about 16, visiting relatives down in Georgia), and it had the best Milkshake I've ever had as well. Triple Chocolate shake! Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Milk, Chocolate Syrup. The burger was juicy and huge, and the bacon was perfectly crisp(not that limp cramp fast-food joints put on), and the bun was homemade. Yummy!

They're mainly based in SoCal. But IN-N-OUT is spread out. I know I've seen one in Laughlin Nevada.

Ah, I see. I live in Washington...

I prefer to make them myself for best results, but locally I would vote for Mama Q's. Local grass fed beef, some smoked gouda, chipotle mayo, red onion, tomato, lettuce... :liplick:

A patty made from finest Kobe beef...

I had a Kobe burger once, and it was like meat butter. But at $19.99 a plate it is a bit nonsensical and not really worth the price (thankfully it was comped as a business call).

Whataburger is probably the best burgers I've ever had, and they're a fast food chain.

Hell yeah! Best franchise burger I've had yet. Can't get them this far east though.

If its fast food its Wendy's hands down. In a restaurant its Ruby Tuesdays. If its home cooked I'll pick myself. I do work on the bbq grill.

There's this local brewery... Sutter Buttes Brewery and they have a hell of a selection of burgers and sandwiches to go with your beer. Their burgers are topnotch.

I had a Whataburger while I was down in Texas and it was good, but it was second to Culver's. <---The quality was almost as good but Culver's was slightly better. More juicy, and the Whataburger I ate at was quite smokey from the grill.

We make our own. I like mine to moo in the middle, can't get that from a resturant here due to health ordinances.
Pasture grazed beef with salt, pepper, garlic, molded into patties, then grilled over fire to juicy goodness. Set on a toasted bun with my homemade dill pickles, ketchup, mustard, red onions, then topped with muenster cheese, tomato, romaine lettuce, mayo, and a toasted sesame seed bun top. Don't even need the fries.

We have Whataburgers in Fl, they are much better than McD's- Wendy's-Burker-King-Krystal offerings. We have a local joint up the road that makes decent ones, and Hardees are highly edible.

I tried Five Guys and didn't have quite a good experience. The bacon seemed overcooked and the fries were a little soggy. It was my first time too, so I was looking forward to first impressions. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say someone in the kitchen was having a bad day. Also, it didn't help that it was expensive as heck...

The best burger that I've had was at a place called 'The Tipsy Turtle'. It's a local pub.

I would always get the one with sauteed onions, pepper jack cheese, a spicy mayo that they made in house, and then it was topped with diced jalapeno. All their burgers were damn massive too.

Too bad I gave up this stuff quite a while back. Sort of want one now. :/

I enjoy most burgers to be honest, can't say I have a favourite although if I did it'd be from a local diner/cafe rather than a chain restaurant.

The best burgers I've tasted have been made at home.
If you are talking about burger places, then I don't know, there is this small place outside the city of Troms? that has pretty good burgers.
In my town we only have Burger King and Wimpy, and of those two Wimpy has the best burbers.

But as I said, homemade is best.

Burger King's XL bacon double cheeseburger. It's humanity's greatest achievement, without a doubt.
