Yeah, that annoys me too (as does everything about Boone). It's because he isn't aware of the enemy you're shooting, doesn't know you've engaged, because the engagement is over as soon as you've shot. So he thinks that you were firing your weapon at nothing, and says that to mock you.

I hate Boone.

The one single quote that annoys me the most is the way Ruby Nash says "Howdy" every time I walk by. The way she says it is just so [censored] I want to shoot her in the face every single time.

She should learn from Primm Slim, no one can say "Howdy pardner!" as cool as he can.

Nothing is more repetitive than Lily. Every single time I crouch to sneak she says "Don't worry dearie, grandma knows how to keep quiet" and she says it over and over and over and over every 3-5 seconds while I'm crouched. It was amusing and slightly charming at first, but now I just want to sew her mouth shut. Unfortunately, if I could do that and if I did do that I'd just constantly hear is her reciting that in a muffled voice.
