PCPS3 Release date, Part 4.

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 11:43 pm

Just read TES twitter, says the PS3 update for 1.7 will be "In the coming weeks" Since that patch contains framework for Dawnguard, aparently, I doubt we can expect it anytime soon, What a dissapointment.

At least it's weeks. That means August and not later.

So that's great news.

There's actually a small chance that we might just get to test Dawnguard for the PS3 users, since we already have 1.7. Or at least a beta version of it.

Totally svcks tbh, The coming weeks lol, Hilarious, Oh well I already know pretty much everything that happens thanks to youtube and spoilers being posted in a section that clearly states "NO SPOILERS"

They are skipping 1.6 on PS3 and adding the changes into 1.7, that's just a disgusting level of support for PS3 players, Imo.

Clearly, i'm the only one here that's happy that we aren't going to have to wait for September or beyond.

ASSUMING that Tweet was correct.

I really don't get why they wouldn't, are PS3 users going to buy a PC to play Dawnguard? No

They can and could still release DG on PS3 without the 1.7 patch, I would vote unlikley though.

The tweet was only for the patch, I would not jump to the conclusion you are going to be seeing Dawnguard before September.

I am so ADD with the games I bought off the steam sale like Borderlands, I will play for maybe 30min or watch a movie then its back on the forum looking at the release date thread for DG lol

Its really funny but no one can argue with that, there is nothing, not even a confirmation that DG is even going to release on PS3 or PC at all. Even though we KNOW it will, patch 1.7 further verifying that, but its sad there is nothing offical, there is no release date. Nothing, nada, natha

Not sure why they'd delay it further except for the bug fixes.

Honestly, I find my interest in dawnguard to be next to zero. I lost interest in it like a week after it released on xbox, I know everything that happens in it and can't find a reason to be excited.

I just want my damn patches for PS3.

Well at least PS3 has a time frame now. Dawnguard requires v1.6 and PS3 v1.6 will be bundled with v1.7. If the patch is "in the coming weeks" Dawnguard will not be arriving any sooner than that.

No clue if they will wait to launch PC Dawnguard alongside the PS3 version. Would be nice if they didn't as there isn't really any reason to make PC players wait now that the exclusivity period is over. PC already has the 1.6 patch.

I logged on thinking as a PC user I'd have dawnguard today. WTF is happening on the PC front.

Well, that's your own damn fault for spoiling the discoveries for yourself.

After all the problems Bethesda caused in Europe (First they released the German version about three weeks later than the uk version and after releasing it in Germany, the German players were tortured with naked NPC`s and invisible enemys) I have no doubt that Bethesda will mess up the whole issue for pc and ps3 users. They are not even tell us a release date or something else. In my opinion Bethesda has lost a lot of reputation by the pc and ps3 gamers. Shame on you Bethesda because how you treat your paying customers. I think they don′t care about the other platforms, otherwise they would have told us something, even if it`s a excuse for their heinously behaviour.
(Sorry for my badass english, I′m from Bavaria :) )

i generally try to avoid taking things for granted.

However im more excited for this dlc than i was for skyrim itself, although $19.99 is a pretty steep price if you ask me.

It`s not my day too. BETHESDA, if you care about your well paying pc and ps3 customers, give us something we can live with. A small comment or something else. Show us that you care about us. If not, stop developing games!!!!
