I can't even say that the PS3 'treated' , there's no even treat , it's more like " Hey you don't exist ! we just make the game to the void ! "

Here's the deal.. (at least the likely deal as we can learn from history).

MS paid for 60 exclusive days for Dead Money, the first DLC in Fallout: New Vegas. So, if we look at history, Dawnguard is probably 60 days. MS also payed Bethseda to shut up about promoting the PC and PS3 version for 60 or close to 60 days. After that period we will hear more.

IF Microsoft bought an indefinite exclusive deal, then Microsoft would want that fact promoted I imagine. The message being: "Don't hold out because it won't show up on your platform, you should just by the 360 version". But that message is not being communicated, so I think that it won't be forever excluded.

So wait 60 days for this DLC nonsesnse and you can play on PC/PS3. A small chance for 90 days, but I doubt it.

As an aside, I hope this steam for linux thing catches ground, it might make Microsoft think twice about punishing Windows users.

Bethesda explicitly stated at Skyrim's release that the timed exclusivity was for 30 days.

I am curious. If Skyrim was not released on the PS3, would some of you still buy it in another platform?

I find it funny how people are just now talking about not supporting Bethesda. I know quite awhile ago I made the decision to make Skyrim the last game of Bethesda's I support. I did this because they are a highly irresponsible and incompetent company. I did the same thing with Creative Assembly after the terrible releases of Empire and Napoleon Total War, and then they basically made Shogun 2 a piece of crap after awhile.

If MS payed for a 60 days exclusive deal. And Dawnguard was advertised with a 30 day exclusive period. THAT is false advertising. And I'm pretty sure that both companies aren't that thick headed.

I'm not into all the "the pc made you" crap. Because I first got into Elder Scrolls on the xbox. I bought skyrim for the xbox, and bought it again for the PC when I acquired enough savings for a good gaming PC. So I'm unbiased with my opinions.

I didn't buy dawnguard for the xbox, because I thought it was going to be a 30 day wait. And 30 days isn't too long. But Pete Hines has said that it hasn't even been announced for other platforms yet, so my first thought was that it wasn't going to be released on other platforms. Even though I think they will release it to other platforms, it definitely sounds like they might not.

if I had an xbox ya but if they dnt release it on Ps3 I would still walk away from them and never buy anything from them again(i would buy DG on 360 only when it first came out but once I saw how PC was treated and PS3 was ignored I wouldn't give BGS another cent)

How much sense does that make? Microsoft buys a 30 day exclusivity deal, and then Bethesda doesn't release it to other platforms???

The PC did make them. The PC modding community is responsible for morrowind and oblivion still selling to this day and making them look and run like modern games. Not to mention fixing THOUSANDS of their bugs for them. Without the support of PC gamers, they would not have gotten this far, that is a fact.

Bethesda is obviously enjoying the hide-and-seek game played with the second grade consumers...
