20 bucks is already pretty cheap considering the excellent quality and quantity of the content in this DLC. I just wish Bethesda wasn't actively stopping us from giving them money.

You see , even if it will get released ( in a month , two weeks ) Who knows ?
The thing is , I won't welcome it so much , yes I will want to play it but without the " Oh finally I got my favorite DLC from my favorite company ".
It will be pretty much cold.

I'd settle for an apology for the lack of communication and treating their fans like crap.

I want to know what Bethesda was doing for a whole month while Dawnguard was out for the Xbox? Why weren't they working on the PC and PS3 version of Dawnguard? An even better question why is it not done it has been almost a year since Skyrim came out?

The DLC, should it ever come to PC which I doubt, will be sold digitally. So on steam or whatever, meaning full price until steam have another sale.

It's done. They're sitting on it and won't say why. The way it's developed, the PC and Xbox versions are identical with the exception of the xbox using .ddx files and the PC using .dds files and the .nifs being slightly different. It's possible for us to convert .ddx to .dds but it takes forever. Bethesda obviously has the tools to convert in batches as they created the file format. You can already take the xbox DLC file and put it in your PC game, it'll just crash as soon as it has to access the content in those .ddx files.

Dark Souls is amazing, I have it on PS3. If you have not played it try it on PS3 it works so well.

I did not think it would be my sort of game from the look of it, but it is basically a old school RPG updated and made to look and feel great.

If you do not like it then you prefer easer games, and there is nothing wrong with that. The difficulty is why some people think it is great. As for the first time in a while a game makes you try really hard.

I don't mind paying $20 and I have accepted that I will be waiting- whatever. It's no big deal. But not even knowing the date is irritating me. Waking up every day with the small hope that Dawnguard might be released is annoying. Tell me when it's coming out so every time I check the forums it isn't another disappointment. Tell me what the delay is so I can understand why I'm waiting. Tell me something Bethesda! Something! I would be happy if I saw a tentative schedule. If you know it's not going to be out next Tuesday or the Tuesday after that, let everyone know. That's all I ask.

It is possible it has massive game breaking bugs, even more so then on the 360 and that is why they have not released it? However I think they are just focusing on the 360 and trying to fix that, and they have handled it very badly. As if they had came out and said we need more time with it and to focus on the platform it is out for then things might not be so bad.

Yet they did not and the PC community are getting ignored.
I do not even want this DLC, I just want to be treated the same as a person who plays on the 360.

The DLC, should it ever come to PC which I doubt

Bethesda has said Xbox has exclusivity for 30 days, insinuating that it will be coming to other platforms, the CK was accidentally updated with Dawnguard content, and patch 1.6 adds Dawnguard to the list of quests in the game. We know it's coming to the PC. It's just when.

Bethesda doesn't exactly have a history of taking extra time to weed out bugs, and it doesn't make sense to start now, especially for a PC release. We've always fixed their bugs ourselves. Hell, I can circumvent or fix 9 bugs out of 10 without even exiting the game via the console commands.
