The commonplace isn't fantastic. Meeting a minotaur every 50 metres on a road in Oblivion made them a boring chore, not a challange. I like the way Skyrim had blended the mundane and the fantastic. I would.ve liked more variety of creatures, especially Daedra, but whats in the game was well used. I'm not surprised they limited themselves to just atronachs and dremora. In MW and Oblivion daedra were fairly common foes, in Skyrim they rarely appear, so I understand Bethesda not making lots of different Daedra. I hope we'll see a few more in DLC.
