How do you create YOUR character?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 3:00 pm

5. Pick the best looking race, customize them to be better looking than that, and go about Skyrim comparing yourself to how much better looking you are than the other NPC's?

Pretty much. :)

I do add some backstory to them as well of why they ended up in Skyrim, what their goals are and some various character traits. I'm not a die hard roleplayer though.

I plan them a lot, look up their names to make them as lore-friendly as possible, draw them and make a small family tree and story for them... Dark Elves are my favorite race and atm I have 4 of them in Skyrim

I role play, currently have a Altmer pure Mage, Breton priest of Arkay, Orc Battle Mage and a Dunmer Assasin. Each has a a background story, and play restrictions.

Favorite was the drunken priest of Arkay, just when I thought I'd saved enough for a new mace he would spank the lot on Black Briar Mead, curse you Maven!!!

I'm one of the people that need the best, all quest done, everything 100, all on one person. I've used the same Redguard named Stow(my last name) for Morrowind, Oblivion, and now Skyrim. It took me many many restart to finnaly make someone that I was happy with. Evrytime I would make someone, after a few days I would delete him because he wasn't as good as I wanted. Finally one day I wrote out the starting stats of all the races trying to make the person with the highest hp I could. After some time it was down to a Redguard, Orc or a Nord, those 3 had the highest starting endurance. I think the Redguard had the best ability of the 3 in morrowind, and I liked there skill bonuses the best. So I picked the redguard, got a birth sign that added to my starting endurance, and every time I leveled up I made sure I would get 5x for endurence, untill it hit 100. At that time getting everything to 100 and doing all the quest wasn't even a thought in my mind. It came later when I wasn't happy with any other kind of person I made. Even when Oblivion came out I couldn't make some one I like playin with more then Stow. So I brought him back to life in Oblivion and my play style didn't change a bit. As soon as I start I get his endurance to 100 in the shortest amout of levels possable, once that happens I just play the game normal and enjoy it. Normally just wander thethe world doing odd jobs here and there till I get somewhere in the level 20s. Then ill start joining the guilds, doing a fighter type guild then a stealth type, then a fighter type and a stealth type until there all done. Save the magic type for last since those are the skill that take longer for me to level up. After that ill do the main quest, saving the deadric ones for last since they give the coolest stuff normally. By this time most my skills are at 100, maybe a few in the mage class still need some work lol. Go to where ever I been storing all the really great iteam, put on the best of what I got thoughout my travels, and enjoy this beast I've created by exploring any areas I didn't get to, finding any side quest I missed getting whatever skills arnt 100 to 100, and searchin the land for any items I might be missing in whatever I decided I wanted to collect. I don't really roleplay as I like to do everything with one person and make him the master of everything. But there are some thing I do and don't do. I never kill a person who isn't hostile to me. I only steal 2 type of items 1) alchemy ingredients 2)ore and ingots(since Skyrim). I never buy anything, only sell. I never use fast travel. The only time I ever grind a skill is when I first start, and that's to get my endurance to 100 (not a issue in Skyrim). And the one I'm most proud is that on any character I have ever made in any of the 3 game I have never done a training session, I do read the skill books, and yea in Oblivion I did watch the people by the arena and cloud ruler temple that make your skills go up if you stand by them. The only time those rules get broken is if its a quest and I have to do it, or after I have done everything in the game and I have to break one to get a particular item I want for my collections. Ok I think I'm done, that's a lot to type on a phone, its a pain tryin to proof read this before I reply, so forgive me if I have some crazy spelling errors. And Stow is going strong in Skyrim, currently level 58, still gotta do the darkbrother hood, and a few deadric quest, then its off to roam the wilds some more. He's the first and only persom I've made for Skyrims so far, so after 3 games and almost playing the same way everytime I'm still happy with him.

Struggling to keep a character? Here's a new solution.

So for those of you who do not know, I am a college student, psychology major. I spoke to my psychology professor today about "Restartitis" basically, the type where I can't make up my freaking mind about what I want to play, and I restart every five minutes, if I'm lucky. So I told him my situation and here's what he told me. Now he's not a clinical psychologist, but he's just telling me what he thinks about it. *Keep in mind! This is because I'M having psychological issues with it. Not everybody else.*

First off, he called it "perfectionism" and by that he means I'm spending way too much time trying to make "The Perfect Character." I explained because of the perk limitations I can't make that perfect character like you could in Oblivion. So he said "Since there are limitations on the game, you must learn to put limitations on yourself." By that, he means that no matter how hard we try, and no matter how much studying, research, and planning we do to make the "Perfect Character," that goal is not going to happen.

So he gave me a suggestion, and I am not preaching this to you guys, I am just posting it because I'm going to try it and you may also want to try it too if you're struggling like I am. He said, "Limit yourself to 2 hours of planning and figuring out exactly what you want to do with your character. Take that time to make SURE this is the one you want to play. 2 hours is enough time to think about your character, plan out what you want to do, and then create him/her. After that, start your game. Once you start your game, then take what you have made with your character and instead of focusing on what he DOESNT have, focus on what he DOES have and work from there. Dedicate yourself to that character that you have created and work out the issues as they come along. It's good practice for someone who is a perfectionist about it."

Then it came to me, people aren't perfect. Everybody has strengths and weaknesses. You can't be perfect here, and I think Skyrim limited us so we can't be perfect there, either. When you take your time to build that character, it's like you're building a bond with your avatar. From there, you work your way with your avatar to tackle one obstacle at a time. When your mind is telling you that you don't like it, that is the time for you to say "You know what, mind? Shut up. I made this character and they are perfect because *I* made them.

Anyways, I am going to give it a try today. I'm going to sit down and spend my first hour planning them out, the next hour will go towards fixing and then creating my avatar.

Well, after only an hour an ten minutes, this is what I've come up with. I enjoy the mages. I did a series of cross-referencing the races with my personal preferences, and it came down between a Breton and a High Elf. Because of the fact that High Elf has more offensive abilities, he took the cake. As for a backstory, so I can put value onto my avatar, this is what I came up with...

High Elf mage, gone rogue. Used to work for the Thalmor Embassy as a researcher in the arcane arts. After years of working for them, he learned that they were evil and planning on taking over. When he tried to put a stop to it, the thalmor captured him, torturing him by blinding him and also gave him a large scar on his face (He has a scar and both of his eyes are white from being blind) then killed him and derobed him, leaving him in rags. While they believe they succeeded, he was tossed aside in a pile of corpses. As they went on with their business, he had cast a rune of healing on his chest over his heart before he confronted them in fear of them successfully killing him, which then preserved a small amount of life energy, bringing him back to life. When he awoke in the pile of bodies, even though he was blinded, because of the rune he cast upon himself and because of his vast knowledge of the arcane arts, he was then able to see the physical world through an ancient arcane magic.

It's safe to say, he's pissed and he wants his revenge on the Thalmor Embassy.

After being resurrected by his own magic, he tried to escape the area getting caught by the imperial legion, thus ending up on his way to his own execution. The rest...is history.

As for his name... Feanaro Taralom.

This is my first elder scrolls game, but I am a huge fan of any game with character creation and normally I'll spend a decent chunk of time around creating that character. For my first playthrough of Skyrim I knew I wanted to be a mage. I restarted the game at least 7 times just getting the hang of it and trying to figure out what direction to go. I like my first character and started as a archer/mage, immediately doing college quests and role playing the part, but as time went on I started doing other things that didn't fit the part just out of curiousity. Now, I look at my first character really as just an experiment to figure out the game.

I just started a new game a few days ago as an Orc warrior by the name of Matuk. I spent a ton of time crafting him out and coming up with a backstory in my head and figuring out exactly what I would do within the game to shape his world. He's supposed to have been an orphan raised by bandits, ran away at an early age and got involved with bad people. He headed towards Skyrim to get away, got into trouble, and that's how he ended up at Helgen. He is quiet, short tempered, aggressive when angry, yet introspective. He has an extreme hatred towards bandits (fueled by his childhood) and people who steal or murder to get ahead, although he won't hesitate to kill someone for their actions. He hates the Altmer (Thalmor, specifically) because of their condescending attitudes. His concept of morality isn't the best, but he isn't really a jerk, just short tempered and has a low tolerance for evil minded people. He solves these problems through his own helping of bloodshed. Yeah, maybe he can be a hypocrite, but I like being able to shape his character from the war that he has going on inside himself.

So far he joined the companions, learned about being the Dragonborn (I'm ignoring the main quest at the moment though), visited a few Orc strongholds to learn about the upbringing he missed. Now He's just adventuring around Markarth and is discovering how much he hates the Stormcloaks and will probably end up joining the Imperials.

Anyway, that's an idea of how far I go in my own head to create a character. My Orc character is probably the furthest I've gone to come up with a backstory for any character I've created in any game. I really can't enjoy a game like this if I don't have a reason for "why" when it comes to basically everything. Immersion is key. My characters sometimes reflect how I am in real life, but this character does not, which is okay with me. It's more about fitting into shoes. I'm actually kind of surprised, I've always favored stealthy characters in games, but I'm enjoying the warrior type way more than my archer/mage.

Thanks, same for your High Elf. I like reading about what other people are coming up with. The things you said about "perfectionism" are definitely true for me. I get stressed out when I can't decide whether something I made or did is exactly the way I want it or not.

That's a good idea lol. I have always thought about taking dice or a coin and flipping or rolling to get a completely random character and just going with it. Any advice?

Ok. You need the game manual of at least one TES. I use Morrowind. Roll once for race, once for providence. Roll again for class (or just pick a few major skills. Then get a good TRPG book. One that lists ordinary professions, or you could just list them. Roll a profession the same way. then choose a level of education -- it takes a lot of self control to be illiterate in TES but it's kinda fun. I also pick a social class. Rich, middle or poor.

Nice man. I'll have to get one of those books. I live in a small city so I'll probably have to order one. Any recommendations?

I always role-play myself in some form or another. I hate dressing up and pretending to be someone else.

I tend to favor magic so that's always a part of my characters. In Skyrim, I've been making a series of characters based on what skills and perks I want to explore and learn. The first one was Evaliir Srinna, Breton mage and that's her in my avatar. Later, I made myself do a warrior build and she's named Ysabel Maro, an Imperial. I ended up really liking that one a lot and will do it again someday. Blocking was a blast. I also made a Khajiit named Ka'shira Khajiit who would pickpocket but never steal. She'd reverse pickpocket a gold ring to someone she liked and a dead fish to someone if they weren't nice. Then there was Cinna Veluthil who didn't like to kill. She's on hold at Level 13 with 0 kills in her stats. I want to explore that one some more, especially for the Illusion skill. Cinna was inspired by Felix the Peaceful Monk on youtube. Now it's Kiir Srinna, sister to Evaliir. Hope that helps. :) :tes:

Usually, the first thing i look at is Appearance, Physics.

I chose to be a Orc Girl.

In my opinion, the Physics of swinging the 2h Axe, and Melee look very good with the character.

The vocals of the grunting, shouts.

I start out with a rough outline of my character's past and personality, but allow him some room to grow as his story unfolds. Many of my characters are based on historical figures like Alexander the Great, Jia Xu and Date Masamune, but even they become their own entity early on.

It kind of just happens, but there is some method to my madness. I choose a Class and Alignment first, then I create a backstory that explains my character's motives and how they ended up at the Skyrim border. The backstory is important to me because it dictates what quests I do, how I handle them if given options at quest's end, and also how my character approaches the culture and society of Skyrim. My dealings and questing then further alters how my character feels about the world as the game progresses.

I decided that I wanted to play multiple characters for Skyrim. I love cats, and seeing how awesome the Khajiit looked, I made a female Khajiit Warrior named Gianna first. I chose a Warrior so that I could focus on combat and keep things simple. Unfortunately I've spread her Perks too thin, but that's another story. I've always played a Paladin in video games when given the choice so Gianna always does the right thing. She lived in Cyrodiil and sought to reclaim honor for her family, since they lived in poverty because of one of her ancestors. He was a Thieves Guild member who was disavowed, and ended up as a Highwayman who was killed by the Champion of Cyrodiil. Gianna hooked up with an unsavory Argonian Thief named Skeeme, and they traveled to Skyrim to search for a priceless Dragon artifact. They were caught at the border, and Skeeme got away at Gianna's expense. She realized the error of her ways and embraced the honorable ways she was taught as a child. She still quests for the Dragon artifact, but seeks to help all those in need.

Arkved is an Altmer Mage. He is concerned only with his personal mission, which is to find Arkved's Light, an enchanted robe. He belongs to an Order from Cyrodiil that calls themselves Arkved's Light. They are low level Mages that worship a deceased Mage named Arkved, who lived in a Tower during the Third Era. Arkved was an orphan when he was taken in by the Order, named by them, and they groomed his natural magical abilities. The robes were believed to be in Skyrim, and Arkved was caught crossing the border. Since being in Skyrim though, Arkved's powers have increased since he joined the College of Winterhold, and he now intends to keep the robes and exploit their powers for his own gain.

Maylissa is an Imperial Cleric. I just started playing her last night, and I'm undecided about her backstory. The gist of her character is that she's a Holy Slayer that hunts Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, and Undead. She's obviously not evil, but she doesn't try to form attachments to any place or person, so as not to distract herself from her crusade. She's currently living in Anise's Cabin, after "evicting" the previous owner. The character is inspired by the traditional Cleric Class from AD&D. She's using a Mace, Shield, Restoration Magic, and Conjuration to Turn and Raise Undead.

So that's how I create my characters. I haven't played since January, but coming back to Skyrim after some time has made me appreciate the game even more. I can't wait to see where Gianna, Arkved, and Maylissa end up in their adventures.

I come up with a general idea for a character, but usually end up changing things as I go along. I don't really "roleplay" my characters, but rather view them as the main character in a story I'm creating.

My first toon in Skyrim was an argonian that I used to just explore the game with, so he ended up being a rather useless jack-of-all-trades. Second I made a Nord Barbarian with anger management issues. But I haven't really played these two characters much lately.

My 2 latest characters have a bit more of a story (and some more levels) to them:

Ranga is a high-elf battlemage. She specialises in destruction, restoration and one-handed combat. She wears light (glass) armor and wields a glass sword. She uses enchanting, alchemy and smithing to become as powerful as she can be. She's not necessarily "bad", but she will put her thirst for knowledge and power before almost anything and anyone. Originally, she wanted to be a full-on Mage, using only magic and uninterested in mundane things like smithing, but as she developed, she felt this path was too restrictive. She's become the Arch-mage of the college in Winterhold and is now focussing on getting to the bottom of her being "dragonborn". Oh, she loves animals and will never kill one unless it attacks her.

Rae'loh is a Khajiit sneak thief/assassin, he lives a secretive life, avoiding most contact with other people. He spends his time pickpocketing, burglaring and hunting wildlife. While in Riften, he got caught up with the Thieves' guild and is now trying to get back at Mercer Frey for trying to kill him... while he's filthy rich (as a result of his "hobbies"), he prefers running around in his simple roughspun tunic, footwraps and hat. He will wear the recently acquired thieves' guild armor when the situation calls for it, but he's not very comfortable in it. He dislikes "manual labor", so smithing is out of the question. Faffing around with flowers and herbs is not his thing either. He will uses potions and potions he "finds" though. He has no affinity with magic whatsoever, he doesn't use it and doesn't like it. He will use enchanted weapons/armor when he can acquire it, but he'll never enchant anything himself. After seeing the dragon in Helgen, he decided the wanted nothing to do with those monsters and had no interest in going to Whiterun and getting involved...

I'm thinking about another character at the moment, but haven't decided on one yet... I'm thinking Orc, most likely male, leaning towards a sort of Shaman-type... In touch with nature (herbalism), wearing hide/leather, using a two-handed mace to do damage and magic to protect, restore and empower himself.

I choose a Class and Alignment first, then I create a backstory that explains my character's motives and how they ended up at the Skyrim border. The backstory is important to me because it dictates what quests I do, how I handle them if given options at quest's end, and also how my character approaches the culture and society of Skyrim.

Im sort of the same except Im generally a nice person and have stealth in mind. Coming up with backstories is a recent thing for me. Heres the one I use most (not to mention long...longer than i remember it being):

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/631856881919168533/1BFD9206556A525712E4602B602F81D6D23125EA/, a Dunmer born of a Nord father and Dunmer mother. Raised on a farm a few miles south of Lake Itlana, Hunter was plagued by visions from Azura. Through these visions Hunter learned of the magical arts. On her 21st birthday Hunter was invited to go hunting with her Father, while out hunting the two got seperated. Alone and in a cave, Hircine presented himself and an offer to Hunter. Hircine offered Hunter a chance to be his Avatar upon Tamrial, his only condition is that she hunt and kill the White Were-Sabre that inhabits the cave. Hours of trudging through the cave she comes upon a great white sabre tooth tiger. She readies her bow and lets an arrow fly. The arrow soars through the thick cave air. It pierces the targets chest through the other side and lodges itself into the cave wall. The Sabre turns and stares Hunter in the eye as it turns into an aparition of Hircine. Hircine congratulates Hunter on a successful hunt but tells her that she has much to learn before being named his avatar. The aparition fades from view and Hunter decides to leave the cave. As she exits the cave Azura appears and tells her that shes taken her first step along her path of destiney.

When she arrives at the farm shes immediatly scolded by her partents and in a fit of rage accidently sets a wheat crop ablaze. In the aftermath she was sent to the Arcane University by an Imperial convoy. One long week later after crossing the border into cyrodiil the convoy was beset by bandits. Admist the attack Hunter had begun a fire storm showering both the bandits and the imperial convoy in fireballs. All that was left was a smoldering wreck of the carriage and 2 dozen charred bodies. Alone on the road, Hunter was found and apprehended by a passing patrol. The examiners of the site assumed that all the bodies were part of the convoy, condemning Hunter to execution.
While in her cell she was mocked by another prisoner continually, until she set his pants on fire. One dingy sunset Azura visited Hunter saying 'Its time'. She woke up as 3 members of the blades and the Emperor stopped by her cell door. Her cell was an secret escape path for the Emperors. She followed them into the tunnel and after helping defend the emperor, Hunter had to make her own way to the exit.

Before leaving the surviving Blade ordered her to Weynon Priory. She was met with a Monk called Jauffre, who sent her to Kvatch. Hunter's heart fell into her stomach as she saw the smoldering ruins of Kvatch. As she approached the Refugee camp a hysterical survivor ran past screaming "THE DAEDRA HAVE COME! The end is nigh!". The Captain of the guard stopped Hunter in her march up the hill and told her to go back to the camp. She ignored his commands and continued marching past him and the baricades. 50yds from the searing oblivion gate Hunter unsheathes her steel longsword and prepared a fireball. Clanfears and Daedroths emerge from the gate as Hunter charges it. The daedra fall to her swift blade and fireball bombardment. Hunter leaps into the gate and is met with a firery hellish lanscape. After battling her way into the Sigil chamber, she grabs the sigil stone and is transported back to the gates of Kvatch.

The Captain rushes to apologise for his rudeness and asks for help retaking the city. She agrees and heads through the gate and slaughters the Clanfears and Dremora in the courtyard. When the last enemy falls she heads into the Cathedral and queries about Martin. She it pointed to the Priest, who doesnt believe Hunter is asked by her to head to the camp while the way is clear and wait for her. She joins up with the captain and the last of the guard for an assault on the Keep. The assualt is halted by the keep's portcullis, the captain elects Hunter to head through the Catacombs and raise the portcullis from the other side. She snuck past the daedra, taking them out one by one with her bow. She raised the portcullis and allowed the assualt to proceed. She ran into the keep leaving the Daedra outside to the guards. After a flurry of sword swings and fireballs, the Great hall was cleared of evil. The Captain runs to Hunter and sends her to find the Count. She made her way to the private quarters of the count only to find his burning corpse. She took the Counts ring and handed it to the captain. Without a word she left the keep to sound of cheering drowning out the burning and crackling of wood. An astounded Martin thanked Hunter on saving whats left of the city and agrees to see Jauffre.

They arrive at Weynon Priory only to find it under attack by Mythic Dawn agents. Two agents attack Martin, Hunter switly slices the first's head off and incinerated the second as he ran. She charges into the chapel with her bow ready, letting an arrow fly through the neck of one agent and before she could notch another it ricocheted of the wall and into the head of last agent. The triumph trio decide to head to Cloud Ruler Temple. An eventless journey later they arrive at the ancient fortress and our greeted by the occupants. Jauffre invites Hunter to join the blades to which she accepts. Jauffre mentions that Baurus is alive and is planning to find out more on the cult.

Hunter arrives at imperial city inn where Baurus is undercover. Baurus commands Hunter to act casually and sit down. She casually sits down and Baurus tells her to follow him to the cellar after he is followed by a cultist. They desend into the basemant where Hunter promptly slits the cultists throat. She searches his body for a book, only to find a book titled Mythic Dawn Commentaries 1. Baurus tells Hunter to find the last 3 Volumes. Hunter acquires Vol.2 from the University and the Third from First Edition. The shopkeeper of the bookstore discloses the identity of a wood elf who was after Vol.3. Hunter tracks the bosmer to an alley where she forces him to a wall with a dagger to his neck demanding to know his connection to the Mythic Dawn. He blurts out that he had a meeting in the sewers with one called the sponser who has the fourth volume. Hunter meets with Baurus at a sewer entrance. Hunter drops into the dingy depths followed by Baurus, they head to the meeting spot. As they reach the meeting spot, Hunter agrees to provide overwatch while Baurus meets with the Sponser. The meeting goes awry when the sponser realises who Baurus is. Hunter lets and arrow soar through the stinking air piercing the heart of the sponser. Baurus hands the fourth volume to hunter. She exits the sewers and walks to the green emperor way. She sits near the gravestones, reading the books shes collected. When she notices the first letter of each paragraph spell out a phrase. After decyphering the code she ascertains the location of a Mythic Dawn shrine.

She heads out into the wilderness, towards the shrine. As she enters the cave she is mistaken for a new initiate and is relieved of her equipment. She's led to a shrine to Mehrunes Dagon, where she's asked to kill an argonian. She grabs the dagger from the pedestal and kidney stabs an acolyte. In the confusion Hunter throws the dagger at a guard and drops a ball of flames into the crowd. She frees the Argonian and retrieves her items, grabbing the Mysterium Xarxes on the way out.

She returns to Cloud Ruler temple and hand the infernal book to Martin. Jauffre notes his displeasure about Martin reading the book, He asks Hunter to look into spies around bruma. Hunter heads off to find out more, only to be accosted by one spy. The spy dies effortlessly to Hunters destructive magic. Hunter uncovers a cave where the spies have been hiding out and that one of the guard is a spy. Hunter informs the Captain of the Bruma guard who apprehends the spy for questioning. Hunter returns to the fortress, when martin approaches Hunter telling her that he needs a daedric artifact for a ritual.

Hunter remembers rumours of Umbra hiding out in a ruin near pells gate. She finds out the location of the ruin from the villagers and ventures into it. She stealthily nears herself towards a mad woman talking to her sword, taking place on a balcony overlooking the woman. Hunter readies her bow, carefully aims, takes a deep breath, holds it and lets loose. The arrow soars through the air but Umbra deflects it with her sword. Hunter launches herself from her perch towards Umbra, who swats Hunter aside. As she struggles to get on her feet Hunter unleashes a spell blinding Umbra. Hunter stabs Umbra multiple times with her dagger until Umbra falls to the ground. Hunter grabs the sword when the smell of wet dog fills the air, from the shadows emerges a man and an old dog. The man introduces himself as Clavicus Vile and his dog Barbas. Clavicus extends a deal to Hunter for the sword, Hunter walks on past him and exits the ruins.

When Hunter hands over Umbra to Martin a Blade bursts into the room rambling something about a firery gate. Hunter joins jauffre on the battlements overlooking Bruma. Jauffre looks to Hunter and before he can say anything he finds her heading off to the gate. She arrives to find the guards scrambling to defend the town. Hunter unfazed by what she's seeing commands the Captain and his two best men to accompany her into the hellish depths. The storm the sigil tower and crash into the sigil chamber, after dropping scores of Daedra the Captain finally secures the stone anchoring the gate. After the ordeal the Captain asks Hunter to gather aid for Bruma to which she agreed.

After gathering the aid Bruma sorely needed Hunter returned to Martin. Martin uncover more about the Ritual and that he needed the Armour of Tiber Septim and a Great Welkynd stone. He told her where she could find a Welkynd stone and that Jauffre knows where to find the armour. Hunter Traveled to Miscarcand and Sancre Tor clearing both of their dark denizens and obtaining the artifacts. Martin reluctenly tells Hunter that need a Great Sigil Stone and that they'll have to allow the Mythic Dawn to attempt a siege of Bruma. He also tells her that he wishes to be amongst the men in the battle. Hunter tries to persuade Martin into staying in the fortress but ultimately fails.

The following day Hunter, Jauffre and Baurus escort Martin down to Bruma to inform the Countess of his plans. Martin asks Hunter to go ahead and arrange a meeting in the chapel. She persuades the Countess to meet with Martin in the chapel to attend the battle plans. After the Countess agrees to the plans Martin and Hunter are cheered by the townsfolk as they head to the staging ground. The army arrive at the staging ground to find one Oblivion gate standing, the men form their ranks as Martin gives out a speech. Daedra pour out as Martin finishes his speech and two more gate rise from the dirt. The troops start pushing the waves of daedra back as the Great gate appears. Without prompting Hunter bursts out of the writhing mass of bodies and into the Great gate. On the other side she's met with a horde of daedra guarding a massive war machine. Hunter races to the tower against the war machine. Hunter reaches the sigil chamber only to struggle against the imense power emanating from the Stone.

Back on the battlefield the last dremora falls and the soldier scream out in joyous victory. Hunter passes the Stone to Martin and the two head back to Cloud Ruler Temple. Martin readies in the great hall for the ritual. Hunter gives the go ahead and Martin opens a portal to Paradise. Hunter finds herself in a beautiful lanscape and a path laid out before her. She follows the path where a daedroth appears from nowhere and kills a deer. Further along the path Cultists trapped in this perpetual hell of beauty. A dremora named Kathutet who gives Hunter a choice; do him a service and free another daedra or challenge him in a duel. Hunter decapitates Kathutet in a single move and grabs the Bands of the Chosen from his twitching corpse. Hunter makes her way through torture pits with the help of a cultist traitor. She come face to face with Mankar Cameron who monologues and attacks Hunter with a volley of spells. Hunter deflects the spells and lunges for Mankar, piercing his gut and freezing his heart with a frost spell. Hunter tears the Amulet of kings from his withering body. As Mankars palace collapses around Hunter, she's transported back to the Fortress. Hunter places the amulet in Martin's hands. Martin exclaims that they must still reach the Temple of the one.

Hunter, Martin, Jauffre and Baurus quickly saddle their horses and gallop to the imperial city. As they reach the temple they find that Mehrunes has already entered this realm. Martin and Hunter rush to the temple doors. Avoiding the wrath of Mehrunes they enter the temple. Martin said his farewells to Hunter and Shattered the amulet join his blood with the Aedra. He transformed into the flaming avatar of Akatosh and defeated Mehrunes. After the dust settled and the flaming Avatar had turned to stone, Hunter was found on her knees lifeless with a single tear down her cheek. Ocato came to investigate and asked Hunter what had transpired. Hunter told him that Martin has joined his father. Hunter got up onto her feet when Ocato named her Champion of Cyrodiil.

She continued to drive out the last of the Mythic Dawn. Hircine visited Hunter telling her that she had proven herself worthy of being his Avatar on Nirn, awarding her the Hunter's Talon made from a Dragons claw. 3 weeks later and the Mythic Dawn were assumed to be completely destroyed. A melancholy filled Hunter decided it was time to return to Skyrim, to Home.

On her journey home Azura once again visited Hunter. After this meeting Hunter disappeared from Nirn all together. 200yrs pass and Hunter returns to Nirn, not a day older than when she disappeared and where she had disappeared from. Without realising that 200yrs had passed Hunter decided to continue her journey home. As she crossed the border she saw a man trying to steal a horse as a legion of Imperial soldiers surround her and a group of Stormcloaks.
