Women, ladies, girls and females: A little guy question for

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 4:42 pm

Both occur at age 22.

Balding at age 22 is not common.....if you argue that then theres no point.

If you're going to neurotically focus on every stereotype and innuendo that exists, and go through your life measuring yourself against them, your life will be miserable, regardless of what you look like.

It sounds to me like you're looking for a reason to be down on yourself. Is there some truth to my impression?

No. I'm not down on myself for stereotypes, but they come from somewhere. It's not the majority but like I said it's there.

i'm not looking for sympathy or trying to get down on myself.

I just know my life and what I've seen. It seems the ppl who are always saying "chin up" or "you're wrong" etc. are either ppl who aren't bald, are in a relationship already, or a select few woman that argue "not every girl hates bald heads." (which is not what I argue).

And you're 22? It's a tough a one. I just think it's a downward spiral if you let it rule your life. Easier said than done for sure and I agree that a lot of girls are very shallow when it comes to hair.

No, I'm 33. Unforetunately if I'm 100% of what is considerred "old age bald" now, I was 75% of it at 22. So I've had time to deal with it. It basically ruined my self esteem.

You look very wierd at 22 with almost no hair. You look old....but you look young. Anyone who says they don't mind it, doesn't think about it at that age. I tried my fair share of hook ups and the responses I got.....well, it's why I don't think some of the ppl in this conversation are thinking it through.

People always mention men who are in their 30's or some [censored] when they say sixy bald men. it's more accepted by like 35 or so, but still.

Okay, I see. You're simply making a point.

NB: Just because people aren't bald doesn't mean they can't empathise with having "imperfections". :P

Yeah, it does look odd when a guy is younger. When you think of all the bald guys who are in films, they're all 30's or older.

Exactly...it depends on the guy. But it takes more when you're bald. I'm guessing you're not very old b/c this has been around a while. It's a joke everywhere. It was on Sienfield.
seinfield??? i've heard it in media too but come on, no i've never heard a girl say irl that she prefer hair on a guy's head

What? You've never heard a girl say she prefers hair to baldness? I've never heard the reverse...

Who can say from pictures? Most gals I know go for many things other than looks. Myself? Well if they can keep the wood chopped, keep some food on the table and keep me smiling...I could not care less what they look like. Just make me laugh and take care of me.

I was being facetious. I have grey hair at the temples, but it doesn't bother me (much). :P
