Youre in that mode again where I cant take you seriously.
Probably because I wasn't trying at all.
This is the same tirade for the millionth time, the same flawed arguments, the same crap over and over again.
I tried to explain what is wrong with all this, basically nearly every complaint that has to bring up Morrowind, but no...
But if you so want an actual argument about this perticular problem, fine, I'll do it without a joke this time:
EVERY SINGLE GAME LACKED SOMETHING THAT THEIR PREDECESSORS HAD. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE OF THEM!
No boats in Daggerfall, no passwall, no self-centered area of effect spell-form (until Skyrim)
No horses in Morrowind, no Thaumaturgy, no climbing, no swimming skill, no language skills, no knightly orders, no class weaknesses, no daily routines (by that I mean the simplest of them all Daggerfall had, shops closing at night)...
Oblivon and Skyrim have been done millions of times, I won't repeat them.
Thing is, this is a stupid thing to complain about, and with this you just concentrate on things that are missing, ignoring what is actually in the game.
And no, you cannot just "add stuff to it" or "just fix it", it doesn't work that way.
This is so wrong, I'm just speechless, instead I let somebody else say it:
But instead you continuously overexaggerate, imply that people are saying things they are not
You're completely right. Skyrim is not exactly the same but what it is, is less than its predecessors. Forget about the lack of weapons, customization, and ships, but you have to look at its core. The quests, depth, choices and exploration, if I'm not mistaken this is basically what makes TES great games. When comparing these key ideas through out the different games you can see that Skyrim does lack.
no, it really does not, especially if you have to compare them to the other TES games...
