From the perspective of the general society. A word to label something that they dictate as "wrong," or "abnornal,"
Hand to Hand would do good for the monk characters.
The norm defines what is (ab)normal, not the norm. In the case of sociopathy/psychopathy, these disorders are maladaptations. Those so "diagnosed" very rarely actually live happy and healthy lives unless they're "cured" (or at least treated/in treatment). Even then, achieving happiness can be a full time job for a psyche not geared to do so. Stating that seeking NOT to be happy is an "alternative", rather than a disorder, is on the order of saying that being congenitally disposed to suicide is an adventitious mutation, "evolutionarily" speaking.
