Hearthfire - Thread #3

Why do people spend time asking for stuff like spears and mysticism?

Why not concentrate on significant matters like an epic story. why not ask for a game narrative that is as immersive as the world.

Are there not some events in TES history you want to know about?

do you not feel the Blades questline in Skyrim could have been done better?

I recognize all have their desires but it seems like all people want are features
I agree. The story is key

Spears, etc is filler stuff

This is what I want the most for the next DLC:

* New locations: The new locations of Dawnguard were really nice, but they lacked cities, villages, and so on. I hope that instead of making two different location, they make one large area with cities and villages. Perhaps they could recreate a fraction of another province?
That would be nice

With west morrowind and east high rock and hammerfall being the most obvious. Plenty of cities close to skyrims border to choose from

In addition to what I said I said before: they should focus on the main quest of the DLC (obviously)

And also: I would like an ordinary barber that only changes hair/facial hair/warpaint/makeup and so on. Don't take me wrong, it'w awesome that Bethesda added a face-sculptor for those who weren't happy with their first creation. However, I would feel much less awkward about changing something as simple as hairstyle if I had the option to not do it at a surgeon. I mean, I like to roleplay, and it feels weird if I have to go to a surgeon just to get a new haircut.

It would also be nice if the barber could be less expensive (for obvious reasons).

If they can add hair/beards they should be the same price. Hair-growing spells don't come cheap, after all.

Why would the Dovahkiin need a shrine to himself?

It's only a fan theory that the Dragonborn is Shor. The only evidence I've seen of it is that the Greybeards call you Ysmir, and that could mean anything.

True, but I still think it should be less expensive. 300 gold perhaps?

And also: I want to be able to threaten the face-changer for insulting my face.

hopefully hearthfire last a little longer then Dawnguard, more content would be appreciated or even just more locations. Id love there to be a map of the locations too this time round, not just looking at clouds and being unable to see the new areas within dawnguard it svcks. I loved zooming in to look at Whiterun from above and now i cant even look at the new content in the map kinda svcks alot.

This would be totally awesome! Id love to experience a different area, culture and city with skyrim's graphics and engine. Be awesome to experience one we havn't seen in any game to date though.

Arena covered pretty much entire Tamriel, but I get what you mean.

I would love to High Rock or Hammerfell
