Dawnguard....or Van Helsing?....WTF this is Skyrim!

Oblivion was great, but you've taken the 2 best thing from that game.....too easy

On skyrim beth has focused the attention more on the radiant quests, perhaps the intention was initially too ambitious and that's probably why they've decided to return to the "old way" at the last minute, but some good moment in the guilds is still present i must say

Alright, some of Skyrim's daedric quests were well-done, but the questlines were all meh, and that goes double for the MQ.

Skyrim has Dragons? How unoriginal, I didn't pay to play a Dragonlance game!

They are ruining the lore... that already has Dragons and Vampires in it...

This whole thread is a bunch of crap. From the start.
People complains over their own requests. Funny isn it ?
Vampires were requested by a vocal minority. A lot of people have zero interest for them, some will get DG only for the crossbow and added spells, some because in 7 months this is the first and only official extra content. So claiming that people complain over what they've requested is not true.

Let's say that the next add-on is centered only around spear wielding werebears... Both are popular subjectsm judging from the number of threads which cropped up recently. Will people complain? Of course they'll do because the silent majority of TES fans wants a proper expansion like Tribunal, Bloodmoon or SI with a lot of things to do and to please different tastes.

I don't picture my Dovakhins character taking part in any vampire vs hunter petty war; tbh I don't picture Vampires at all in Skyrim save for how they were portrayed in past games.

Go watch A Boy and His Dog, and tell me there are no similarities.

Ah, because a game that takes place in the post apocalyptic world and happens to have a dog as a companion (you don't even have to have the dog with you) means it's a direct copy of A Boy and His Dog? Even though the plot of every Fallout is completely different. In fact, everything is completely different. Don't judge what you don't know. Now I am ending this Fallout ranting here, as a mod already wants this to get back on topic.

Back on topic: I don't recall anyone requesting a DLC involving vampires. Maybe a few comments here and there but never a huge request from the majority of the community.

I hate the idea of a vampire DLC and I am skipping this one. The idea is just not original and like some have said I have no interest in them.

Even If I wanted them, I would not get this DLC as it is bug heaven.

Unoriginal and bugged.

The real question is: why the [censored] are vampires so popular that they get shoved down our throat every two minutes. I don't understand the love teens have for them. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed slaying them in the DLC, but vamps are cliche and way overdone, and yes the DLC stole from a lot of recent sources.

Don't look at them as a clichè and you'll be fine- not only teens love them, even murnau, dreyer ,herzog and coppola have dedicated a movie to this subject, real movies i mean.....

Aren't vampires supposed to burn up in sunlight?

in es scrolls i dont think they should, seeing as the sun is a hole with magic pouring through and most vampires are mages in skyrim, i dont see why they would burn up

Let's get back on topic. This thread is not about Fallout...we have an entire section for Fallout discussion.

Do not ever speak again. Because everything you say is literally, nonsense.

Dawnguard was great. Just because it has crossbows, means it's now a reference to Van Helsing?

Yeah, mostly this topic has stayed off topic since my caution to stay on topic...thus it is locked.

Not that it was going anywhere in the first place with half loving it and the other half not and half seeing it's like Van Helsing and the other half not...goodness...discuss, debate and disagree but do so without attacking others who don't see things as you do.

Different strokes for different folks and there is no right or wrong in what we desire in a game. It's either something you like or not.
