Your optimism is refreshing. I hope you are right.
I am HARDLY ever wrong.....i state facts....i propose theories.....i like evidence.

Saying that this is "all a scam" is stupid....show me proof.

If this was a stunt...whats the point....

they could just come out and say....sorry....not coming to ps3....

Thats assuming that MS is paying buku bucks....odds are...its coming to ps3.....so quit your crazy theories...and shut up!

I mean shut up in the highest respect.
By it's a stunt, I mean that they are trying to keep us happy with how long it's taken. They don't want to take the blame for their failure at coding for the PS3, so they try to blame Sony. But it's not working.

I think you might be in for a real letdown in the event that Bethesda can't get it working on PS3. Your optimism is certainly a nice switch from the doom and gloom most people are talking, but I think you might be a little too optimistic.

I think they're not going to let a 46% american market share go to waste... especially if they've come so far with Dawnguard.

As I've said previously - they might just have to modify the game and possibly sell it as a discount.

Conversely if that's not a possibility maybe a PS3 exclusive expansion that is actually DESIGNED around the PS3 specs?

I didn't see them blame sony... in fact they said they're working with them.

Look - if it wasn't going to happen, or if they have NO hope of it happening, then they wouldn't just keep stringing us along - would they? What's worse... cheezed off customers short-term... or long-delayed/betrayed customers a year from now? :P

Can someone really justify all this hate? I mean, LA noire was a game I loved, and there was one case that I never got to play because it was PS3 exclusive. I just looked at it on the wiki and moved on. Rockstar did a similar thing with RDR. Oh well.
You complain about the lack of information, yet every post on bethblog is met with streams of 'I hate you beth, I'm never buying any of your games again.' Quite frankly, if that was the response I got for keeping the fans updated on all things bethesda, I just wouldn't say anything until dawnguard was ready.
You complain that bethesda are poor developers? If that was the case, why continue to but shoddy product after shoddy product. They may have some bugs unfixed, but what other developer can keep you playing a single-player RPG for hundreds of hours? Witcher 2 lasted about 30 hours for me, Skyrim, 300. In a game that large, theres lots of bugs? They're poor developers because they can't program for the PS3 as well as the Xbox? That's like saying I'm bad at writing because I find it easier to write on paper than sandpaper. No, I can write just fine, but Sandpaper isn't suited to my pen. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with sandpaper, it's just not as easy to work with. They say a poor craftsman blames his tools, but bethesda aren't doing that. They're doing their best to smooth out the faults, but it takes time.

As long as I get it at some point before the end of the year, they can take all the time they need.
