Your current most hated artistband

I was going to say One Direction, but soon they'll fade away like the Jonas Brothers did.

So it's either Minaj or Gaga. Those two annoy me the most.

Is Gaga a man or a woman? I can't tell...

Colin Hays - Crappy producer. Grossly overrated. Repetitive and boring.

One Direction - A frankensteined together band from the devil himself, Simon Cowell. Their producers steal the melodies from other songs and their fans say they're original (The bass line in "One Thing" is directly from "Summer Lovin'" and the guitar part for "Live Like We're Young" is the same as "Should I Stay Or Should I Go")

I remember many years ago someone telling me how awesome Nazareth were. I finally heard them recently and concluded that... well, they aren't. They sound to me like a sort of proto Guns & Roses.

Nazareth is one of my favorite bands. They had some very commercial rock anthems (Hair of the Dog, Love Hurts, Dream On, etc) but they had some great out-there stuff, too. They were a big part of the early metal movement, touring with Deep Purple at one point. They fit in with some of my other favorite bands like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Blue Oyster Cult. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5SyetmQ6Xc, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyorXkwfkLs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PblMwPRjYms, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rb7VzULrwsc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl_q9ZCoyOg are my favorites from Nazareth. I can easily see why someone wouldn't like them, but they are a very talented group of musicians. They sounded as good, or better, live as in the studio, which is something you just don't get today with all the auto-tuning, lip-synching, and whatnot. I think they are an awesome band.

Good catch on noticing that Dan McCafferty's vocals were a big influence on GnR, by the way. I've heard that Axl Rose wanted Nazareth to play at his wedding. Could be just one of those stories, though.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't dream of saying they're not talented (same with G&R, as much as it pains me to say it!), I'm just not a fan. I usually take care to differentiate between "this music is bad" (which is sometimes the case) and "this music doesn't appeal to me". Nazareth seem to be part of that wave of early '80s metal bands that included the likes of Saxon, who I find to be fairly inaccessible too.

All the stuff I linked was from 1975 or before. I'm not really a big fan of the early '80s heavy metal, either. The sort of proto-metal hard rock of the 70's is about as far as I go.

Black Veil Brides. Their first album had some tolerable songs but its gotten just plain terrible from there. Eck.

Any hardcoe rap or country. Especially the pop-country garbage. You don't get much worse than that.

Oh wow. I think Pitbull is my most hated. He's just so irritating.

I actually quite like Pitbull. Fun for the clubbing scene. I prefer it to most other rap. Especially the ones glamorising some fake ghetto image about drugs and gangs.
