The Unofficial Healthy-Dose-of-Pessimism Thread

First time I saw Victor in that NV trailer he seem pretty unusual to me. He had that retro-futurism look but it with a more sinister look. That airship could be from any game. It doesn't have anything special about it that'd make it unique to the Fallout series IMO.

The user influx is common when new games are announced. Things will calm down eventually. of course it'll probably be a while.

Curious what the   means.. I've seen other people use it as well.

I suppose, but we've always had robots in the games so it didn't really phase me with Victor.

Idk it keeps popping up whenever I quote someone. Must be a problem with the forum.

Forum has been weird for me lately too. I keep seeing duplicate threads with 0 views or posts and posting has been a little weird too.

I like the partially deconstructed PA, gives me hope of armor modification.

I can't imagine anything whackier than that. Flying ships in Boston seem sane compared to what transpired at the Big MT.

Well yeah I don't expect to see that level of insanity everywhere.

But methinks you must've read my previous post wrong.

I'm a bit upset with the dog honestly. Why a German Shepard? I mean the design they went with on the dog is just odd, with the hair pasted on it like paint or something. Personally if they were going to go with a dog in that style, it should've been a Rottweiler, or some other stocky, short-hair dog.

I have nothing wrong with German Shepards, it's just the design with how hair is makes the dog look weird.

Also? LOL, that Deathclaw seems to be wearing tattered robes. Could it be?....Goris, it's been so long!

a single script handles all the end-game choices, would probably be very easy if you knew where that data was in a save (ofc they know)

I hope it's not just a bunch of stuff we have seen in previous Fallout games mixed with U.S. revolutionary war references and Boston landmarks. I hope there are a decent amount of new ideas in the game.

I hope... the residents of Vault 111 are androids/replicas of the original inhabitants if we are to be another vault dweller.

Just from all the speculation, I am going to be wondering the entire game if my character is really an android.
