You X-Box people get Dragonborn in... 3 hours or something?

The rest of us 30 days+

Will these forums be spoiler-safe for us or are we pretty much doomed to live in complete darkness for 30 days? I want to continue reading these forums but Im not sure if the moderators will manage to keep it completely spoilerfree >.<

All it takes is one idiot to make a thread called MIRAAK IS CROSSDRESSING, THE LAST FEMALE DWEMER! (If that was the case) and BOOM - all enjoyment crushed. Us "waiters" are probably counting on getting GENERAL info about the DLC at the risk of getting stuff spoiled. Is that even managable? Are we to blame ourselves for being svcked into the forums like mothpriests to an elderscroll?

I will have to try and figure out if the DLC is good or bad from the outside first.. So I will be looking at a lot of the spoilers.. I really don't think the story will be any good soo even a spoil of that won't bother me..

Well I bought the last 2 DLC for both my 360 and PC so I will probably buy this one for both as well.

Probably will look at spoilers to figure out a few things - like what kind of an impact is there on the DLC if I say...

Spoiler
Kill Paarthurnax. Will Delphine join First Dragonborn, and I can kill her with the rest of the Blades she recruits?
Spoiler
Accept or deny Hermaeus Mora

Well as a Xbox player, I won't be posting spoilers because I don't see the point in ruining the "surprise" for everybody else who has not got the DLC, however they may be some people who would gladly spoil it for others which would take the enjoyment out of it for you guys. Also the DLC has had many spoilers posted on the internet, most parts are true, the moderators may be able to stop the DLC being spoiled on this forum by creating another sub-forum and calling it Dragonborn hints, cheats and spoilers hopefullly this will help the PC and PS3 player to still maintain their hype and then they have the option to look in that forum therefore eliminating any whining about this forum because they took it upon themselves to look in that forum.

Pc user here and 30 day waits don't mean much to me now. besides, it'll give me plenty of time to figure out if I really want to purchase it. Not entirely happy with Dawnguard and somewhat regret buying it, and buying Hearthfire was a waste of my money.

Yeah, I'll be here checking out the spoilers, as well as others' opinions of the newest and hopefully last DLC...so maybe we can get started on Fallout 4. I needs my post apocalyptic fix dammit!!! :stare:

Go out and buy a Xbox. That's what MS wants. In the meanwhile I'll just keep myself busy with other good titles out there. There is life beyond TES I tell you.

What is it about things being spoiled that makes you so annoyed?

Lets say you were starting a 10 hour marathon to watch The lord of the rings for the first time, not knowing what the hype was about, or even the basic story...

...you wouldnt be mad if someone told you the whole ending as you were buying snacks at the start of the movies?

You've never had someone tell you a major reveal for a movie or book you've been looking forward to? It's annoying and inconsiderate. That being said, considering there'll be a spoiler section here, as long as it remains confined there, I've never understood people whining about spoilers. You go into the spoiler section, you have no right to complain.

That being said, I doubt Dragonborn can be spoiled for me. I don't have much confidence in the story, so I'm not worried about spoilers there, and other reveals, such as werebears, spears, magic, etc. will let me know if I even want to buy this thing at all.

Gandalf says "Fly, you fools."

Hide? No. I'll play something else or better, go outside, and I'll shelve Skyrim for some time.

Thats why Im scared. I expect the story to be bad. But if it actually has a great plot twist - the spoiler will be the difference between being shot in the foot or the groin.

Yes, but it doesn't ruin the enjoyment for me. And why should it?
I think knowing the details beforehand makes it more exciting when you eventually get there.

You are either a very simpleminded and egocentric person, OR a really smart philosophy-loving guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism

Edit: Considering the "only *I* matter" attitude. But I failed to realize you probably meant "as for me" DUH! No offense intended

We should salute our brave xbox friends, no way to fix screw ups, no console commands or emergency user patches.
At leaste the forensic team will give the modders a lot of data to work on.

You are only to blame if you intentionally enter the Dragonborn Spoilers forums before it is released on your system. If you don't want to be spoiled on the dlc, you should probably stay out of that particular area. If some idiot posts Dragonborn spoilers in any of the other forums, go ahead and get angry. I know I would be.

The same thing we did when Dawnguard came out. Stay out of Cheat, Hints & Spoilers section, yell at everyone who posts spoilers in General. Or better yet, go play other games for a month and return in January.

I'm not worried about the spoilers at all.
