PS3 Release for Dawnguard, DLC etc... #37 : V - Skyrim

so with patch 1.8 out for 360 now it would be nice to read about the status of 1.8 for ps3.

Well this patch , is mostly pre-Dragonborn stuff, and even if we will be getting a dlc it would requierd diffrent things because we will probobly be getting dawnguard first ( if at alll)
so , we will probobly have to wait two months, for next rolled patch .

Yeah put currently patch 1.8 is xbox and pc centered, both have already two dlcs ,and will get Dragonborn , BEthesda need to make special 1.8 patch, that has dawnguard information, and this will take some time, thats why it will probobly be relsesd with 1.9 of xbox and pc

because xbox still generates money, ps3 not so much, from company point of view there is no reason to make a patch to fix game , that don't offer any more money. Thats why Bethesda will not make special patch just for ps3, we have to wait for next non dlc patch and then we will get new broken fixes

not to thorw a monkey wrench into that..but Pc version had PS3 spefic stuff on it..so why make a patch include "DLC " for PS3 players and then not release it.......

WE don't know about this, they could basicly just sat one day to try fix something on ps3 , but nothing has come of it and that lines of code were just leftovers that they forget to delete before they submited patch to beta test.

Whats going on any new news? ( looks at forums ) *sigh* nope same old same old. we had a ray of hope but its gone now. back to wondering & hoping we see atleast one dlc for skyrim with in the next 2 years or so. but i'm not counting on it at this point.

Well as far as the PS3 getting the 1.8 patch I think that IF it is true that it sets up the PS3 to get DLC I think that it will come out no sooner than when ever Bethesda announces whatever DLC the PS3 will get(I hope that it is all of them but who knows what we will get) and if I remember correctly they did not announce the other DLC for the PC until after it dropped for the 360 so I will have to say in my opinion we will get the news for whatever DLC the PS3 and PC gets after 12/04/2012 and the patch will come to the PS3 after that. I do hope that I am wrong but that is how I see this playing out.
